When I listened to this teaching, the laughter for me was disruptive to the message this man brought. i love this, because there are tons of people today, fooling themselves thinking they belong to God when they keep living their sinful (same) life, no change, no movement, no maturity in the Lord. Mr. Chan is a perfect religious actor. He speaks more to men than from God and the apostolic message. I know that you will not understand this, but begin to read God's Word every day the 365th part of the Bible. And so on for years, and you will understand all the tricks and false ways of religious actors.

You're not wrong Francis. That's exactly what scripture says. Even Jesus told me in regards to a new prayer language He gave me, "Only I understand. This is for just you and I" it was so special and so intimate. Also, the bible clearly speaks on the man being the head of the home. Many disagree, sure. But not because the word leaves room for questions.

We must speak the true of the word of GOD that is in the bible without adding or changing the meaning because we are concern of hursting of offending anyone. Guest what Jesus was offend but he didn't water down the true of the Father. I new beliver and even I understood God what us preach his word even if it hurst.. In Jesus I trust and belived.

Francis Chan, I am afraid that I have deliberately sinned and have fallen out of grace. It has taken me longer than it should to fully repent of many things by actually stopping doing them. I fear that my lust and lying to please people has taken me out of God’s forgiveness. I’m scared. I have let my fear of judgement from people keep me from always doing and saying what I know I should. I’ve been so down about this lately. I know the Lord and have experienced His love and grace and mercy over and over and over again, but lately have really been more aware of all the sin still in my life and fear that I have not always been quick enough to repent and that I have fallen out of grace.
God is still mindful of you, that is why your heart is not at rest. Receive the forgiveness of your sins by faith and live daily rejoicing in the assembly of numerous angels on Mount Zion. Reject the lie of satan that God is no longer interested in restoring you. Shalom.

Baptist, Lutheran, etc. In John it says they will know my people because of their love for each other. Does anyone else just fee so extremely guilty everyday that you’re not yelling in the streets about Jesus? I just want to go tell everyone but I’m so scared of rejection. I’m scared of pushing people away. Christians seem to have a bad light on them. I heard of a guy who met Jesus and all He said to Him was something like “(his name), what have you done with the life my Master has given you?” And he said he had nothing to say. That terrifies me

In regard to Francis Chan's description of God from the book of Exodus, let's look at this scripture:
And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5)
So, why the description of "darkness" in Exodus? Let's look at the following scripture:
“Do not be afraid,” Moses replied. “For God has come to test you, so that the fear of Him may be before you, to keep you from sinning.” (Ex. 20:20)
These things were for the Israelites own good. Let's look at these scriptures:
14For God speaks in one way and in another, yet no one notices. 15In a dream, in a vision in the night, when deep sleep falls upon men as they slumber on their beds, 16He opens their ears and terrifies them with warnings 17to turn a man from wrongdoing and keep him from pride, 18to preserve his soul from the Pit and his life from perishing by the sword. (Job 33:14-18)

More specifically,
True Faith in True Gospel = New Creation in likeness of Jesus + Spirit of God
New Creation + Holy Spirit = Salvation from sins of this world + Fruits/Works of the Spirit
False Faith in Fake Gospel = Death
False Faith in Fake Gospel + Works of the Flesh = Death
I so appreciate Pastor Chan’s heart, but I wonder if he was as saddened as I was by the people in the crowd who would not quiet their hearts, minds and mouths and just listen. The crowd was so distracting to me! Am I alone?
Church is about community. Its not just a place to go and be silent and listen, it welcomes discussion, and feedback. Im sure he wasnt bothered by it at all
I’m sure he was use to it however although the building that most people call church is in part about community and yes discussion is good however there’s a time for that. When the Word is being preached or taught there should be a reverence for the Word. If someone is having a conversation with another person and the other person listening kept talking or laughing while they were speaking I think that would be rude and the other person speaking may feel uncomfortable and not be able to finish their sentence. Just a thought.
And what's wrong with the way he looks? He's handsome & I'm sure his daughter is beautiful. They look Asian or Native American. What's wrong with that look? Just saying based on c.4:28... It's a big deal because it breeds a sense of self-hatred...
I enjoy Francis teachings. However, the applause he received seem more than the amens Jesus receives. Think on these things.
GOD does not speak through you! GOD has already spoken! You only share what its been said. do not be mistaken or misinformed to the point where you lie to your self and it becomes norm. you fear and worry because you want to be listened to. you must become empty, instead of trying to be filled with self gratitude.
Matthew 10: 19-20 When you are arrested, don’t worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time. For it is not you who will be speaking-it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

@@DATRUE1PATRIOT I have to agree with you, since I was born into Catholicism which i no longer follow. They certainly do the stations of the cross and the rosary which in my mind is a form of worship of Mary and they also pray to the saints. The catholic churches here where i am from (The Islands) have since stopped the confessional thing which i always had a problem with. The baptism at birth is also not biblical. I agree we must be loving and united but not at the expense of the true Gospel.
I had to do my own research and investigations into the Catholic faith and other world views and had to bend the knee to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, and @stephen you information is inaccurate in regards to the founding church. The church's original goal was not to be denominational but only to spread the true gospel. Martin Luther who was part of the reform in the 1500's branched from Catholicism because some of their teaching were not scriptural ex. Purgatory, confession, alms and Calvinism. Its not only Catholics its many different religious denominations that had divided and dissected the scripture to suit the flesh.

Francis hears from God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit!!! He walks in love as Jesus commanded, not judging others in the Body of Christ as the modern-day Pharisees and Sadducees are doing. Woe to you, without love you are a clanging cymbal and are part of the problem in the church. Each ministry has a purpose in the body. It may not be your cup of tea, but as long as he is teaching the Bible, believing that Jesus is the resurrected Son of God, risen from the grave and sitting at the right hand of Father God. Taking our sins upon Himself to save us from our sins and bringing relationship with God through His love and Grace and The Holy Spirit. Bringing grace healing & salvation through repentance and water baptism. Don't get lost in the things that divide the Body of Christ.

There is no prayer language in tongues in scripture. There is a command that only one person speak in tongues. The word commands women not to be pastors. The word commands we call out and judge false prophets and teachers. The word commands we not bare false witness, especially against Christ and the Holy Spirit, attributing to them doctrines of demons and acts that can be found historically in the occult and satanism. The Word is anti-word of Faith and prosperity gospel. We can go on and on but these are the easiest lowest hanging fruit from the tree and the Charismatic Movement. Francis Chan, please talk to believers who were deliver out of this movement there are millions of them. If you listen to their side versus you having conversations with men /leaders of this movement, who love Jesus with all their heart... yet bare the fruit I just listed above. If doctrines of demons were not clothed in a love and passion for Jesus, they wouldn’t stand a chance. Please Francis... I beg you. Talk with Ex New Agers, satanist and those who God has delivered from this movement. They will tell you truth! They know this movement is doctrine of disobedience and using scripture to justify the practice and teaching of sin. In the end times it won’t the Charsmatics that the world hates. They will fit right in and be accepted. It’s already this way. Who will the world hate??? Your old teachers of theology that you have now repented of thinking and being one of them. You will continue to be loved Francis especially by the world as most Charsmatics are and will be loved by the world’. What sect of Christianity does the world hate? Is that sect growing or shrinking? It’s shrinking and will continue to do so as scripture says. Be careful Francis that your love and compassion doesn’t cause you to “feel” that scripture does not need to be obeyed as long as the people are filled with zeal and love for God and people. Jesus warned you about these people and also characterized them as performing signs wonders and miracles!!!!! This was clearly predicted!!!! They and their leaders love the things of this world. they believe they can have the world and Jesus to. They look and act like the world and that’s why they can be so called lovers of Jesus and the world is 100% ok with them!!!! But they sure do hate John MacArthur don’t they? The Charsmatics WILL lead the one world religion with the catholics... all under the claim of unity. Watch!!
I'm sure if Jesus walked the earth today, you would crucify him again. He walked in Grace and Love, looking at people's hearts, not their pious acts of religion and condemnation. We are all sinners in need of a Savior in Christ Jesus. Everyday. Period.

There is indeed a prayer language mentioned in 1 Corinthians chapter 14. I came out of New Age and the Lord drew me straight to Himself bearing all the fruit you mentioned here as being evil. I am not a perfect person but my entire life is devoted to Jesus. I get up at 4 am to be with Him and I stay in the posture of prayer until 8 when my children wake up. I retreat many times a day to prayer alone with Him. I go to bed at night in prayer. I spend more time talking to the Lord than I do anything else, as He commanded us to. I live this way because I adore Him. I can assure you, none of the "evil" you have described here is anything but beautiful and precious gifts the Lord bestows on those that diligently seek Him. There is no hidden or not hidden sin or evil in my life but I repent of any idle word or thought because I LOVE HIM. If I were in error somewhere, He would tell me. And He does.
Sorry but there is also a verse that says speaking in tongues is speaking in a language only God understands and we do it also to edify our spirits . There were many women leaders Priscilla, Deborah and more . It all goes down to what God is speaking to you personally, some women are called to be Pastors, evangelists and more.We are called to love each other unconditionally as He loved us when we still loved sin .Again I say it all goes down to what God is speaking to you personally remember they called Jesus a false prophet .
