To clarify a few things, which I believe weren't really clarified yet, regarding episodes 15 and 16.
Yeah Milim captured the 4 Dragons which at this point I believe, are below Dragon Lords right now. True Dragons are a different race entirely by the way.
Gob'emon (or simply Gobemon) was one of the goblins named by Rimuru upon which he evolved into a Hobgoblin and then an Ogre, the anime skips a ton of stuff about him which you should know.
He was tasked with guarding Gard Mjollmile (the merchant guy) and escorting him to Tempest along with some of Gard's personal guards, because Gobemon wanted to prove himself to Rimuru and at the same time Rimuru wanted for Gobemon to improve and mature.
As it was said in episode 15, he was ambushed. Gobemon lost an arm sometime while protecting Gard, however whenever he returned back to Tempest, Rimuru recovered his arm and even gave his old Katana to him as a gift.
He will appear at least 1 more time in the story but way later on.
The royal/king attire suit Rimuru since he's the Ruler of the Great Jura Tempest Federation.
Another thing, yes Clayman did Pseudo-Awaken as a True Demon Lord during the Walpurgis, however instead of meeting the requirement of 10 000 souls he awakened only using about 3 000. Also, Rimuru underwent an awakening using 20 000 souls, which is double the usual, and the quality of the evolution to a True Demon Lord depends on the number of souls.
Also, I guess that the barrier will protect Tempest from monsters and weaker foes, however won't last against Demon Lord Seed level ones and so, in which case the more powerful foes/troublemakers need to be dealt with either way.
Another thing is that Tengu are something akin to what Ogres or Oni originated from, but of completely different race than Benimaru and the rest are, pretty much.
Hakurou is 300+ years old, considering how old he appeared as an Ogre I'd assume that Benimaru would be 2/3 of that age at best, however his age wasn't stated, so it's only speculation.
And yeah, last time Hakurou saw Kaede was 300 years ago.
There's also that Hakurou and Kaede went at it only one time and that got her pregnant.
The conflict between Shuna and Shion was meant to be for who is worthy of Rimuru.

Shuna's question to Rimuru at 55:40 pretty much boils down to "What is an acceptable method for multiple wife candidates of a single person to battle over the position of the single legal wife in Tempest?", and Rimuru answered thinking it was about Benimaru's situation with Momiji and Albis.
However, he (Rimuru) wasn't aware that the same situation (AND the method of resolution he presented) could also apply to himself with Shuna and Shion (and Diablo). But unlike him, they were very aware of that, and decided to take his words as spoken permission to act upon it.
In other words, Rimuru thought he was hammering the final nail on the coffin of Benimaru's "single life", but he also ended up putting a time bomb on his own "single" life unknowingly.
If diablo enters the competition, shuna and shion are screwed, rimuru would be screwed too but in a different sense, unless raphael interferes

And btw the reason you don't see any big goal is because season 2 concluded the first part of slime, since this is the beginning of the second part it's definitely slower, and will pick up pace again. This is basically the second beginning of slime.

when Milim lost her family she went on a rampage and Guy Crimson had to step in and battled her for days, the battle decimated a big part of the world and Ramiris was the one that succeded in restoring Milim´s sanity and thus saved the world but Ramiris lost most of her power and transformed into her pixie form that you see in the anime.
Ramis is something a lot deeper than a fairy demon lord and she is very connected to Millim in a very familiar way. I won’t give it away but it’s something you should know about. You see it in their interactions. Guy crimson is also connected directly to Millim as well.

About the issue of Gabiru not looking human while his sister does. This is because when a being evolves in this world, evolution reflects the desires of that being's heart. Gabiru's sister, among others, felt great admiration for humans and wanted to look like them. Gabiru, on the other hand, is very proud of his race as a lizardman, which is why he remained in the same form as he evolved. The same situation occurs for other races, such as goblins, where some seem more human than others, etc.

A couple things that I think the show failed to cover fully. Diablo basically has instant transmission. So he just basically showed up at Rimirus side. Second The barrier really isn't a defensive barrier. It is a weaker version of what the church did when the attacked. It is meant to bring the magicules in the city down to a safe range for normal humans.
I was also wondering why the Dryads suddenly decided they were leaving the forest, but maybe they trust Rimuru with protecting it? Glad I'm not the only one thinking that these horse people and the one from Jobless Reincarnation look creepy.

Figured the dryad thing was because it sounded like they originally served under Ramiris before she became a demon lord and they lost access to her labyrinth realm.

The reason the treants and dryads (green haired girls) want to serve Ramiris is because they are spirits and Ramiris is the queen of spirits, they used to serve Ramiris before she reincarnated into her current form.
as for Gabiru's form, he can have a human form when he got named by Rimuru, but he takes great pride in his lineage as a lizardman and decided to stay in his lizard form (even his cheerleaders are still in their lizard form), also this part got removed in the anime, when Gabiru's father came to meet Rimuru, he was initially in his human form but changed back to his lizard form when Rimuru joked that he didn't recognise him
I think there is one question you asked that deserve, even need an answer. Why do the Dryades and Treants want to serve Ramiris? They are spirit bounds entities and Ramiris is litteraly the demon lord governing over spirits. It was explained in the second season (or was it first? I haven't watched them in a while so I'm not sure) when Rimuru and the kids went to the labyrith of spirit to meet her and save them (the kids). Since it was so long ago, it is perfectly understandable you forgot that part, which is why that question needed to be answered in my opinion.

All the extra ogres you see use to be goblin that evolved into ogres.
All the goblins under Shion that look like goblins are also ogres but their situation is different cus they were literally dead. (They are called Death Ogres)
Regarding the Dragons they skipped the explanation .. not suprising they do that a lot ... but also skipped an offended Veldora because Rimuru put him an those lizards in the same category ...
In Tensura ... Darongs (not True Dragons like Veldora) Are monsters born from the scattered draconic essence of the Chaos Dragon - which is if you forgot ... the result of milims pet dragon coming back alive without a soul after she became a True Demon Lord ... she had to seal it ... if enough of the essence coalesce and there is a lot of Magicule a dragon can be born -

As an Archdragons is evolving into an elemental dragons ... various circumstances can lead to an variation ... resulting in a variant like the Sky Dragon from S1 these are weaker than the main aElemental ones.
Gob'emon god done dirty in the anime ... this guy competed with Gobta for captain of the Goblin Riders ... while Garding the merchant he protected them multiple tuimes ...and when they were attacked by released monster including a Cockatrice he got part of his hand petrified ... so he cut it of before it could spread ... then beat down the monster ... and refused healing as he considered this as a personal faliure ...

Everyone can game Names ... the thing is when it comes to monsters and similar beings ...giving names also take part of your Magicules and gives them to the named ... theres no easy formula ... as the intentions, feelings and the relative amounts of the 2 parties play a role ... if given carelessly ... to to many or with strong feeling you can give so much that you cripple yourself ... its why the goblins, and ogerse were surprised all the way in S1 that Rimuru decided to name all of them so nonchalantly ... which if he did not have Veldora isnide to fall back on he could have killed himself with his naming sprees ...

You've got the name right, but the people wrong.
Benimaru is an ogre turned Oni. Along with the others like Shion and Shuna.
These are the Tengu, which Benimaru went to as an emissary for Rimuru. Not his people. Though not entirely unrelated either...
As a sidenote, Oni and Tengu are two japanese folklore races, where most of the other races in this anime are more inspired from western fantasy.
That might be the reason you see them as similar.
