Somehow, they always manage to play Viper, pulling out my win condition, with a board full of Infestors and a convenient spawning pool to rush their minions against what remains of my board...
This card has essentialy 3 card effect: handloop that remove one battlecry to play, removal of one body and mass reborn to all units. For balancing this card isn’t enough increase the mana cost
simple fix would be just limit the infester buff could be a hard limit like can only buff 3 or 4 time or maybe make each infester buff alternate between buffing health and attack
real strategy game where a lot of game were decided by flame juggler/sylvanas/ragnaros/you name it RNG? Also a lot of nostalgia players tend to forget that face hunter was able in similiar way just kill you turn 5-6 with a lot of face damage and chargers. So much strategy

Precisely. A full board reborn costs 4, currently, and that doesn't even pull a minion from hand. It's ridiculous.
