Roberto Ferri finally perfectly shows what happened in heaven when they meet again. Such a bold and genial fulfilment of Dantes and all our longing. Truly a master piece and Great art at its best

Dante's love for Beatrice in the Commedia has nothing to do with physical love, physical union or the journey towards that goal. It has nothing to do with Dante and Beatrice immortalising their love. Whosoever reads Dante's work with this interpretation has not understood the text.
