From a retired paccar tech with Pete’s and KW ‘s . Next service do the rears and trans. That would be 5 gallons per rears on 85/140.. Then dump the tranny another 5 gallons of 50 weight. . Money well spent. Keep the rig happy….Now throw the insults and internet heros Lmao..Cheers brother
back in early 80s i got to drive your truck for a few years but they where white in color basic ones our company bought ..some where 10 speeds 3 where 13 speeds.i believe they where cummins 350s and 400s one was a cat the cat one ran west coast the big bunk one like you have.i still remember the guy that got the bigbunk he had long greasy hair he was a charachter.but a damn hard worker and loved his maryjane.he drove that for at least 6 years before he moved on
FSC another great video. I was hoping once you got loaded and was on the big road you would treat us to some truck driving Polka music. Maybe next huh?. Love your videos. My old stomping grounds between Oak Creek & Kenosha. We deal with the Putzmeister folks from time to time making high pressure hydraulic hoses for their equipment. Good People there. Huge changes in that I-94 corridor between Milwaukee & Chi-town over the years. Tremendous volume of traffic.

I lived close to Sweetwater and used to see their trucks running around. If you ever get a chance, go to Sweetwater Valley Farms. They make dozens of varieties of farm made cheeses!
Used a Hobbs switch on the oil galley. Wire to work independently of the ignition if you loose oil psi will cut power to engine and shutoff

Used to haul decking back in 80s for parking garages and that’s the kind of lift they loaded us with . Did a lot of AC casinos 🎰
I'd check the pigtail connector on the front of your trailer and make sure you don't have loose wires and check your grounds too just some friendly advice driver.
Loads like this I always checked the top.of load for.hammers,.wrenches ,nuts and.bolts.etc. before.leaving yard.

I will be interested to see if you get a load back out of Miami, it seems like no one else does.
You can get loads usually out of Tampa.
WhiteVan Man;;;;;hello your comment cracked me up, as there are so many drivers whom could not BACKUP, if their lives depended on it, eg;IN NYC, whomever comes off the WHITESTONE BIDGE, there are so many sighn NO TRUCKS,OR BUSSES on the HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY, (HEADROOM ) I seems there so many either CHEAP, or don’t know, they use CAR GPS
but the first bridge is 1.5 miles up that road, police come asking questions,etc then they CONVISCATE the GPS, then the various FINES, POLICE GET A DRIVER WHOM CAN BACK UP WIT ROAD BLOCKED BEHIND TRUCK, he FINES ARE REALLY SERIOUS, MAYBE YOU NEED T SEE A JUDGE,,AS MOST ARE FROM OUTSTATE,,, LIFE GOES ON ,,,,,,,,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Brush up on your Spanish to go to Miami. Im about 30 miles north in Ft Lauderdale and avoid Miami like the plague. And the lift you are asking about is called a Travelift. Probably going to C&C concrete pumping in Medley. Big guns.

Maybe it ‘would sound better’ BUT, does it add to the bottom financial line of Steve/Wedemeyer? If you/others want to pay for it yourself (I assume you/others have money burning a hole in your wallet & apparently can’t wait to spend it on worthless cr*p), then it doesn’t make any financial sense.
Consider a APU for AC/Heat/Power. Some of the newer ones are pretty good supposedly.
Question from a non-trucker here. I understand that the other driver spoken of in this video returned to the yard for a reload because he was too heavy on the drive axles. Presumably, he drove to a scale and got weighed to determine this. So he was technically illegal while driving to the scale (and back), correct? What would happen if he'd gotten stopped during that time?

Had a customer who tried to drive his tractor back to his yard a half mile away with the just the gooseneck on went around a curve and it swung around and hit a car. Those wide load.pieces are called trusses.

Add a Apu to Orwell that will take a lot of worry out of the equation
Orwell would look mighty awesome stretched out with a lift axle Steve lol then you would have enough room for an APU
Then you others pay for it yourselves. Plus it’s an added worry to maintain or possibly go wrong.
