Well she could use better voice technique it’s a bit breathy and or pitchy at times and she needs to lengthen her lower register. Quite sure her grouse also used auto tune in the entrance stage. But she did get better and I think she’ll make it big in the future. She did rank quite high and made it to finals.
Her voice idk how to explain it like it's so smooth and satisfying it really shined in twinkle man probably one of the best Japanese vocalists I've seen I can't wait to see more of minami

@@someonewho YES! I'm a big fan of post mtg groups like badvillian rescene vvup triples and limelight mtg groups are the best fr I was so glad to see minami was still doing so well and is thriving in rescene it really fits her so well

미나미는 진짜 올라운더야ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 목소리도 너무 매력적이고 노래도 잘하고 mic drop 인트로에서 팝 주는 거 보고 진짜 너무너무 놀랬어ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 영어 발음도 너무 좋고 !! 얼굴도 진짜 예쁘고 꼭 한국에서 데뷔하자!!
그냥 이렇게 무대 영상 모아서 보니까 진짜 확실히 알겠다. 확실한 올라운더인데... 왜 데뷔를 못했을까... 노래는 트윙클도 그렇고 여러 무대에서 노래 잘한다는게 증명되었고.. 전소연쌤도 미나미한테 녹음 받아보고 싶다고 했을 정도니까.. 춤은 그냥 미나미 검색해서 아무 직캠만 들어가봐도 알거임.. 진짜 춤으로 사람 홀림. 특히 마이크드롭 도입부는정말... 방송으로 볼 때는 잘 몰랐었는데 직캠으로 보면 춤 실력 진짜 대단함.. 진짜 직캠 보고 싶어지게 춤... 심지어 랩도 잘함... 포지션 대결 때 미나미라면 보컬, 댄스, 올라운더 다 갈 수 있었을텐데 랩으로 가서 마이크드롭에서 활약하고 옴... 근데 심지어 얼굴마저 예쁨... 뭔가 묘하게 끌리는 아우라같은게 느껴짐.. 얼굴 매력 있게 예쁨... 근데 심지어 일본인임.... 일본 멤버는 일본 시장에서 도움 많이 됨.... 근데 심지어 한국어를 진짜 너무 잘함... 언어 천재 아닌가 싶을정도로.. 등교전 망설임이나 초반에 자기소개 영상보면 그때는 발음이 살짝 부족했었는데 몇 달만에 한국어 마스터 함... 한국어를 진짜 한국인처럼 잘 함... 이렇게 한국어 잘하는 외국멤이 얼마나 있었나...? 싶을 정도로... 바이브 보이스 팬미팅 때 한국 팬들하고 대화 잘 했다는 것만으로도... 한국어 진짜 잘했음... 근데 또 컨셉 다 잘 받음.. 이 영상만 봐도 알겠지만 모든 무대들 컨셉이 다 다름... 근데 코디들 전부 다 소화해 냈음... same same different, 소원을 말해봐, 워너비, 런더월드, 마이크드롭, 트윙클, 마피아 인 더 모닝, 하바나, 소닉 붐, 드리밍 이거 싹 다 컨셉 다른데.. 다 소화함.... 걸크러쉬도 잘했고 여성스러운 것도 잘했고 무언가를 꿈꾸는 듯한 드리밍도 잘했고 약간 전쟁 선포 느낌인 소닉 붐도 잘했고 소원을 말해봐도 너무 잘했음... 이런 애가 13위로 탈락한게 믿기지 않고... 그냥 무대 위에서 꼭 다시 볼 수 있었으면 좋겠다.. 한국어 잘하고 비주얼 피지컬 좋고 컨셈 다 잘받는 올라운더 외국멤 흔하지 않음.. 한국에서 데뷔하자 미나미 사랑해!

I always noticed how hardworking she was, and it showed on every stage. It must have been so hard leaving her country to persue her dreams, but she always remained bright and did amazingly well in everything.
With her all rounder skills I feel like she will be a reliable member of a girlgroup one day, and I hope this day come soon.

minami was my number one pick throughout the show from her very first performance (jimin was my no 2. im cursed with my no 1s being e worded in finals and my no 2s coming first so idk how to react PHDUAIDHIAU) (also prepare for a lot of parenthesis xoxox)
i often catch myself rewatching the genie performance because of something that she has which i cant call anything apart from star quality. Her vocals (idk if this is a hot take or not) was some of the best in the show, and overall was an ACE similar to inhye.
Not only did she dance well and improve throughout the show, she sang and rapped in a language that isn't her native language like the rest of the contestants (along with karina). Her english pronunciation was *the* best in the show (boeun close second), and i remember seeing somewhere that chaewon didn't want minami doing 'on the ground' because she knew she would slay a full english song like she did with 'run the world', would have to fact check me on this tho.
and this isnt even scratching the surface with her: her riffs were the best in the show imo (actively sit and listen to her twinkle riff on repeat, its part of the daily routine at this point) and was able to keep up with main vocal contestants so well. something in the tone of her voice made it so adaptable to different concepts, like with wannabe and havana (personally she deserved that win, although both girls slayed and i wanted both of them in the final group), and her visual is top tier.
i was silently praying they would somehow rig it to get minami in the group to due the fact that CLASS:y have japanese promotions.. being a no japanese membered group.. ik its not the end of the world but still.
to have that skill level at her age, she is only going to improve more and more, and honestly i can see her being an international sensation baring in mind she could take both the asian and western charts by storm with her english pronunciation and already mastering korean enough to sing in it.
