The star watch might be a way to give hints, as we saw, it was panicked in certain events, in a way to tell us something is chasing us, like during the encounter at the end of the trailer

We are chilling with glasses, but I think that is only because we are in her room so he’s wearing those purple glasses but then when we turn around and let her get close, he feels scared like he is going to die and we are going to die.

I feel like the star will tell us what type of light to use (purple/normal), much like how Oli/the prototype guided us through chapter 3. The star might act as an independent/sentient ai with its own emotions, as seen in the trailer ( It showed fear when looking at the prototype claw through the window ). If it warned us about danger, it would have shown some sort of alert sign instead of a face, just like how in 24:24 it displayed a bulb to show what type of light we needed to use. I also think that the reason behind why Mommy Long Legs said what she said is because I think that the prototype is experimenting with the toys to find a way to go back to being normal again. This theory is backed up by the fact that his eyes, hands, and voice are still the same after taking mommy's long legs and cat naps' bodies. If he wanted to make them a part of him, he would have done so already. Instead, we are shown that the prototype has been making/experimenting with toys in the labs ( turning prestone into a catbee toy). This, plus the big yellow mass shown in this trailer at 17:20, indicates that he is making some sort of Frankenstein toy. As for the plague doctor plant heads shown around the goo, I think they are meant to protect the prototype's creation and will be a boss fight (possibly in another future chapter ).

@thinknoodlesI think it depends on how quick you get through the door. If you pass under and immediately flip the lever it means she runs into whilst it’s open. If you get under and run away, there is a few seconds where she talks to you where you have the opportunity to flip the lever and crush her. It’s completely based on how you play the game.
