Its rumoured to be an expansion of the current one. By that i mean, when you are in a call you can see there's a small pill at the top left. Rumour has it that they are simplky using that as thhe 'dynamic island'

I'm glad some things from iOS are coming to OneUI. They take things from each other and modify them to make them "their own". I'm excited for this update, hopefully the 23s get it quickly!

It’s wild to me that the way Samsung rolls out updates is something Apple would do, but does not. Apple updates all of their devices at the same time. Samsung rolls them out only starting with their newest. How many people upgrade their phones because of this and it’s not really talked about?

Why not return Bluetooth icon as soon as you switch it on rather than when a device is attached? It used to be that way and you knew to turn it off and save battery.
Bluetooth doesn't use that mutch battery anymore. I leave everything on all the time (wifi, mobile data, nfc etc..

Will never happen. One ui animations are faster so they won't appear smoother. I'd rather have faster vs slower.

One thing is wrong, live activities was in the Pixel's at a glance widget for a long time. Of course there wasn't many app support but still like clocks,event, uber and some food delivery app had the activities

Hey, I have some suggestions for ONE UI 7.0 in Android 15. One thing I want them to focus more on are app features. Such as the gallery, for example: It's needs a revamp in the sense of adding features like (1) 'improved search functionality' by adding a search button in each album. (2)'Remember last location' while exiting an album instead of scrolling back. (3) 'Multiple photo select and rename at the same time instead of one by one. (4) 'Customisable column count: which can be added in the Galaxy labs section. These are my suggestions because I'm a photographer and I use my gallery app a lot. So, what do you think?
I dont mind the new iOS inspired look.. To be honest, they put their own cute spin on it and it works perfectly.

I don't like how Samsung is trying to turn into Apple. The watch, the buds, the UI, the features... If I wanted an iPhone I would've bought one. Features is fine, you can only do so much, but when it looks, feels, works like an iPhone, then it's too much.

Wish One UI 7.0 comes with depth effect clock feature on the lock-screen like iOS.

They honestly did my s23 plus and 24 plus both had laggy animations , the recent update pretty much got rid of that , scrolling and animations seem way smother now

Then after the 6.1 update the animation have greatly improved across all the Samsung mobiles

Dynamic Island is actually from Honor, but it wasnt used that much there. Apple just integrated it better.

Samsung and every other companies on the other produces more than 1 particular phone every year and they have to keep all running fine and updated so the time of the updates can never be thesame ok,
Samsung has m series,A series ,S series they dropped the Note series so as to be able to focus, they still have Tap S series and some other tab series .That's overwhelming.

People keep saying it's Samsung and android trying to be iOS, but since iOS 14, iPhone has been trying to be android lol 😂. All phone brands copy each other and steal features all they do is rename them to try and put their own spin on it being something they created. For me at least, I'll take the customization of Samsung any day over boring and limiting iOS.

Wish they fix the animations, because other android manufacturers have already surpassed one ui and is now on power woth ios animations(for eg colorOS/oxygenOS) samsung really needs to step up this time otherwise even I will switch to ios whenever I want to get a new device. I am honestly tired of one ui stutters. Feels like a cheap Rs 20k phone, even though I am using their last year flagship S23 Ultra.
