I truly enjoy watching your videos. I'm a 2cd year flower farmer in Tawas Michigan and was so happy when I came across your videos. Please continue to add content.
Oh that is so kind of you! Thank you. Also I had to look up Tawas...I have never been to the north eastern part of MI, but someday maybe I will get there. I have a dream of traveling the lakeshore all the way around someday...
I would love a video about all the woodies and perennials 😍 what varieties do you have, how much of each, spacing, conditioning, pruning, in which month do you cut them ... There are so many information about annuals out there, but not about perennials & woodies😅
Yes, I totally agree, I think there is a lot to info about annuals and not a lot about woodies and perennials. A series on woody shrubs is in the works! Perennials will come later. Thank you for the ideas. I really do enjoy the feedback!
Hi Ruth Anne, thanks for sharing. Hey Jenny Love has an all about ranunculus episode with Dave on her No Till podcast. They do like moisture and don’t like being too dried. But I’m certainly not an expert. Best of luck this upcoming season! 💐
YES! That is in the works...I think it will have to be multiple parts as I have a lot to say about it. 🤣. If you have any specific questions let me know. I think I'm going to start the series talking about why I added woodies to the farm in the first place and then get into the specifics of the field.
Enjoyed the tour greatly! I am in Holland, MI, so our weather looks pretty similar. Hard to believe we just had snow, yesterday tons of rain and 48 degrees today. Gotta love Michigan weather 😀
@kimjapinga6550 ...yes, I live about 30 minutes from Holland. Yes, we just had beautiful crunchy snow and now an inch of rain yesterday...but just wait, later this week cold and more snow 🤣. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour!
Oh, that would have been a helpful thing to say....I am in zone 6a in West MI. It can get below zero F here, but not frequently or for sustained periods. We have more temps in the teens and 20's in the winter because we are insulated by Lake Michigan. We do get a good amount of snowfall each season averaging about 75in/winter.

Oh. That is a great idea...I will go listen to that. I love Jennie's podcast and I think I have listened to that before, but it's been a while.
I’d love if you did a video on your woody field! I just planted one this year and it’s my favorite part of the farm!!

What zone are you growing in, does it get below zero?
