I agree! But I also think the fans that people like Ryan do earn, are more loyal, supportive, and long-term. The fans that follow those clickbaiters are also much quicker to "cancel" them, and jump off the bandwagon as quickly as they jumped on it.

I don’t understand how people comment on RUclipsrs taking a break because you don’t think their job is hard and demanding?
Everyone deserves a break, whether you’re a creator or working 9-5 everyone has to have a break and is entitled to a holiday.
I couldn’t imagine working my office job the entire year without any holidays, that’s insane! So why is it so hard to understand people can’t keep creating and spilling ideas one after the other? Creativity flows in its own ways and it is so hard to come up with good and original content consistently.
Ryan is one of the few youtubers I’ve been watching since I was 16 (now in my late 20’s) and I’m always amazed with his creativity and ideas for his videos. But I can totally see how someone could burn themselves out with this career

The thing with being burned-out is that some people see it or compare it as, RUclipsrs have the chance to take a break while income are still coming in, they are still financially stable. While regular normal workers can't really take a break and if they do, there's no income coming in.
I feel like some of those people who leave those mean comments most likely don't know what being really burned out feels like, but do know that it is easy to leave such mean comments without a reason because they are protect behind the screen.
Like I understand why some people say those things but at the same times I feel like, I also understand that everyone wether you're a RUclipsrs or regular person, we all have and are in different situation. Comparing one lifestyle to another doesn't justify why you can judge someone else.
I used to get annoyed when RUclipsrs complained about the amount of work they do have to do or how burned out they are, or any complaining about their job in front of the camera. In the end of the day, who am I to judge them? I have never been in their situation nor know what they do behind the camera, or know how long it takes to make a video.
I guess I just realized that I was just jealous of their lifestyle and back in the days, I truly felt like they have it so much easier because of the snipped of minutes we see of them. I just let the anger and negativity consumed me and get annoyed for something so stupid, it was the easiest thing to do.
I don't think like that anymore, and I feel like no matter what RUclipsrs does; taking a break, complaining, drink pepsi or coke, buy this kind of brand, or even take a deep breath, people will leave mean comments no matter what. You just can't satisfy everyone.
In the end of the day, if you're RUclipsr and you truly need a break from everything, just do it. You don't need to justify yourself to anyone. For me, as long as you don't hurt yourself or someone else, I am cool with everything else.

I’ve followed Beth since I was 16. I loved her videos, and spent my allowance money on her clothing line at Aeropostale.
I used to bash her when she got busy and wouldn’t upload.
I was 16 and I didn’t understand, but listening to her now on her struggles and stress she went through. I understand now..
Wow, this was an incredible podcast. Not only did I love to see an update on Beth, as someone who watched her growing up, but the interview was really insightful. I especially loved the discussion on taking a break and how that’s different for RUclipsrs versus people with typical jobs. Great job guys :)

when it comes to singing and dancing from what I can tell is that you have to put immense hours of practice to master something. yes some start out better than others but a great example is Pellek the Metal cover singer. He put forth 10,000 hours into singing all day he would practice his singing non stop and spent two years practicing. yes theres notes that may be out of his reach but the ones he can hit are done brilliantly. so yes some may have an edge over others but with enough practice you can end up at the same goal.

I just want to give Ryan a hug when he was talking about the whole 'taking a break' thing. But then i can almost hear him saying "that's not gonna help with anything" hahahaha... It's so true some ppl just burn out but do not have the luxury or their situation is such that they just can't take a break.

I can't believe the talent argument is still debated. It's not difficult to imagine that we are all genetically different. Of course people are genetically predisposed to certain traits that others aren't.
yes but if you want it bad enough, you will work hard to become good at it to the point where it will eventually become second nature to you and you can even surpass the person who has it come “naturally “, depends how far you want to go with it.
When I don't have time to watch the whole podcast I go through those two ads Ryan puts up. 2 ads in an hour long video. Respect.
