Thanks for uploading this. I'm just reading John Robb's bk on The Stone Roses, where Funky Si Wolstencroft leaves the early Roses incarnation to join The Colourfield. He mentioned this performance, he said they performed 3 songs, but I guess only 2 aired? Great to see anyway, thanks! Also I didn't realise Terry Hall played guitar!
at the end of '84 i accidentally taped over this and have searched for it ever since. as far as i am aware it was never released in this form, certainly the 12" version didn't include any of the extra lyrics, so a massive thank you.
Very Cool performance [even if the audio dragged at the end] a little differnet from the 12" release I once owned. Gonna miss a distinctive voice of another Artist done too soon. R.I.P. Terry .
Terry Hall is one of the few best musicians ever,EXTREMELY SPECIAL!!!!!
I saw them live at Sheffield Leadmill around this time. Only just realised how lucky I was. Thanks for posting this.
R.I.P. Terry.
Wish I could transport myself back in time to this amazing performance!!!

Wow. Craig Gannon and Si Wolstencroft in the band! This is brilliant.
Featuring one near (Funky Si) and one ex (Craig Gannon) Smith!
In case anyone's interested in hearing Kim Fowley's original of 'The Trip' - ruclips.net/video/r7PIUZRqxp0/видео.html
Yes! I remembered that, too. People forget Fowley’s influence. He was an evil genius.
Not sure why the screen's so small, will rectify one day, maybe!
Whatever happend to "There's no business like showbusiness"... This was cool.
Absolutely brilliant. Miss the 80's me.
Is that Craig Gannon on guitar and keyboards?
It is

David Hunter inspired from Crossroads
So that was the original lyrics of the song pushing up the daisies 😃😃
If memory serves didn't the boys burn the Stars and Stripes at the end if the set?
That was the Fun Boy Three on The Switch in '83 :-)
