Hey this software looks awesome but I can see a few big flaws holding it back. The 2D editor should allow you to select top, bottom, left, right, front, and back views for editing and designing patterns, this would help the designer be more percise with the amount of slack in the fabric, the 3d viewport should be in orthographic view with grid snapping for all dimensions by default. Perspective view is not in anyway ideal for geometry based design. Also being able to select pattern edges and scale them in 3d view would make more fitting patterns to a mesh go a lot faster for most 3D artist who are more used to conventional modeling programs.
This tutorial’s goals of instructing us is fine… but in so many areas the description and the programs usage are not very well timed… so one can easily mess up the procedure.
Layer cloning for garments that have multiple layers is imporant. the more you work in the software and the more you understand real garments then you can possibly find ways to cheat. it is best to have layer cloning for your normals when you are folding the mesh, like in the lapel.
Often times you just need to update your library and refresh the favorites folders section (the little arrow in a circle) if that doesn't fix it you can reach out to us on our website via the contact tab
These tutorials expect people to have seen the other beginner and basic videos and have an understanding of those tools. here is one of the many videos that covers the sewing tools ruclips.net/video/bZR8j70mA0Q/видео.html&pp=ygUmZnJlZSBzZXdpbmcgdG9vbCBpbiBtYXJ2ZWxvdXMgZGVzaWduZXI%3D

you can change settings of the camera (field of view) for the left viewport and use 1-5 buttons on the keyboard to switch between views.

@6:19 u say select layer clone over, but u clearly click layer clone under.... this threw me off for an entire day. Yes, why clone over the buttons.
the big folded part of the pattern that is attached to the front garment doesn't really stay in place for me it just folds back up awkwardly.
More of these. I like this narrator.
what to do if arrangements points do not appear?
Thank you,very good
keep up the good work
Spent this entire video trying to decide if the voice was computer generated or not 😅
