The ice chests guarantee any ice world character, which means the first one was guaranteed to be a new character. Also, with normal chests if it doesn’t upgrade at all it’ll be either a new character or classic evolution of a character. The only exception is if your chest only had 4 or less upgrade chances, in which case it is possible to just be a single character. Sorry for the long read, just thought I would share. Edit: I completely forgot, it is possible to get super evolutions from chests too. Maybe even ultra, not sure though

I love my boy Rey uploading Squad Buster but I have to down vote this video because I Don't agree with your grateful attitude towards the game being pay to win, celebrating that the game doesn't require any kind of play time for earning anything and instead only your credit card matters. You went so far that you called pay to win skins a "pretty dang good" thing.

fun fact: if you open a chest and there is a star coming towards it, it means there is a classic,super,ultra or a new character
