I'd like to think that there will be more of a twist than "Sunday is the big bad" for two primary reasons: we know Sunday's boss(es) will be arriving on Penacony and that Sunday has been defying them by investing "death," and the fact that Sunday seems genuinely clueless about the secret of the Family because he doesn't seem aware that his sister is still alive, indicating that he doesn't know the truth about the "other side."

Good points - there is indeed the Dream master, "hard master to please" out there! Sunday not straight up being the Final Bad would be a nice extra depth to the situation.
