Thank you for visiting. It truly is amazing during harvest. Once you’ve been a part of farm life for any length of time in a person’s life it never seems to leave you completely.

Looks like y'all had a good yield of wheat this year. What part of Oklahoma are y'all from? From 2000 to 2003 I worked for Newhouse custom harvesting and trucking out of Fredrick Oklahoma. I miss going on harvest these last 18 years.

We’re in Hunter, Ok. We are North Central Oklahoma. When you’ve been a part of harvest for any length of time, it seems when you’re not able to do it anymore, you tend to miss it. I hope you get an opportunity to do it again sometime. Thank you for watching, have a wonderful weekend.

Where in Oklahoma was this video taken? I grew up in the Panhandle and cut wheat on a harvest crew in Frederick, Oklahoma. The John Deere combine is an impressive machine. How many acres a day can it harvest? How big is the header?

Each combine can harvest 150 to 175 acres a day depending on yield, 35-ft draper head

Thank you for visiting, this video was taken in Hunter, OK. We are 167 miles northeast of Frederick, OK. It seems Organic Colorado Bob answered your other questions about the combine, thanks Organic Colorado Bob. I appreciate both of you watching and pray for blessings for both of you. Have a lovely day.

@@OutoftheOrdinaryStuff Yes, and thank you both for your responses. I used to cut wheat on a harvest crew in Frederick about fifty years ago. We had Gleaner-Baldwin C-II combines with 18' headers. We could do about half of what the machine can do nowadays. We did not have a cab with AC or any of the other modern technology machines have today. The technology in farming today. is amazing.

@@slundgr That was certainly a different time and it seems people could endure more then than they can today. Have a wonderful weekend.

Those machines are so impressive...wow. The wind and music give a great, almost lonely, effect. It is a big landscape, fields and sky. Awesome video!

It's already harvest time there👍👍👍. Maybe next month, the wheat fields will be harvested. That's John Deere harvester. Most of the farmers here are using Claas harvester and tractors. Is the name familiar to you? Have a nice harvest time🥰🥰🥰🥰

I’ve heard of Claas combines, but most use Case and John Deere combines in this area. I know that Claas has been in business for many years and makes wonderful machinery. I hope the harvest is bountiful and many blessings to you. Have a lovely weekend.
