Just to clarify the bandle city of the music the video is the old version, maybe even before the lore remake. Today's bandle city have a lot more of twisted terrains and stuff, you can see that in the Leyends of Runeterra cards images (also is like a poket dimensión only accesible trouh portals)
Also the one at the end is Kayle and she is the second vocalist, you can heard her in songs like "Tear of the goddes" or in other songs of the third album, Lost chapter (the one of the digital concert, would be great if you watch it)

Since no one mentioned it: The lyrics of the song tell the backstory of Varus (the guy whose soul got trapped in a bow and later on fused with the two lovers in "As we fall") and his deeds to deserve the magic infusion/immortality he got later.
He was tasked with protecting a temple, so when enemies attacked he had to choose between his duty and going home to save his wife and kids. He stayed and killed everyone who attacked the temple, but his family died. So after the Void/blood magic thing happened he got obsessed with seeking revenge.
Also all of their song titles are named after ingame items, spells or runes. And the band name, Pentakill, is a term for one player killing the entire enemy team in a short amount of time. It's a very rare occurance and considered the highest achievement you can do in a match.
"Did they sneak in another ability and had it make sense?" Actually, all band members (except the angel coming in at the end) did one of their skills:
    - Yorick, the bassist with the top hat, had all the ghostly hands coming out of the ground before he emerged. That's one of his skills to summon ghouls who fight for him. So he basically resurrected himself there
    - Mordekaiser, the big guitarist with the solo, can trap a person in his "Death Realm". We see him emerging out of that in his first appearance
    - Karthus, the lead singer, has an ability which affects every single person in the enemy team. It is visualized by the light columns coming down from the sky. He used it to turn the Yordles into metalheads
    - Sona, Ash is right!, used two. The first one when she comes out of the piano. The golden shockwave forces people to dance and she hit the yordle with the flower. And the purple buff increases the speed of allies, so she buffed Mordekaiser before his solo
    - Olaf, the guitarist, threw one of his axes/drumsticks and went into a rage before starting to hit the rocks. I have to admit that's not that impressive visually, but still a nice nod to his abilities
    Glad you enjoyed it!

It's actually his old story, hence the "my home is gone and my *loved ones* slain"
He was the guardian of the demonic bow, when Noxus attacked he had to choose his duty or his home, but since he was torn between the two by the time he chose to defend his home by taking and using the bow, his home was ruined and his family slain, hence his quest for revenge and the bow's corruption using his negative emotions.
I honestly love his old lore, the new one is not horrible but it's a downgrade in my opinion.

No seemed to say the yordle name yet. She is Poppy. If I recall right she owns a mighty hammer that is destined for a great hero, so she travels around, searching for a worthy hero of the hammer... often times performing heroic deeds herself. (And it wasn't Warriors video, it was the Ruination one)

There is already comments about who is who, so instead of that I will talk about the real-life singers instead.
The band was originally formed when Christian Linke (Arcane co-creator, also used to be in a metal band in Europe) was working in the music department. They hired and used quite a few really popular/famous power metal and (for one of the albums) metalcore vocalists. ‎Jørn Lande (Avantasia, Masterplan, etc.) is the main voice for Karthus, though they also have used ZP Theart (Dragonforce) and Per Johansson (I don't really know a lot about this person, but they were the lead vocalist for Fate for a long time). Starting from the second album they also used Kayle, using Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast) as her vocalist, then they added Tre Watson (producer as well as a singer) and Telle Smith (from The Word Alive, he sang the song Rise you've reacted to before) for the addition of Viego (the bad guy in the Ruination cinematics) to the third album.
I would love to see a guitar cover of this song, but don't worry about it if you don't want to.
About the easter egg with the buff: Just before the solo starts, you see Sona the pianist send a wave of purple at Mordekaiser the guitarist. In game, Sona's regular abilities are all coloured auras. Her purple aura increases the speed of herself and her nearby allies. She used her purple aura to give Morde enough speed to play the solo. Also as a side note, I'm a sucker for singers who use their voices during solos to mimic guitars.
Poppy was in Ruination, not Warriors. I would love to see her as a main character in a cinematic (instead of getting a 10 second cameo to then overshadow her with Vayne's appearance), because her story is both cute (she's trying to find the person who is fated to use the hammer she is carrying) and sad (she never thinks that maybe she is the one who was fated to use the hammer). While a bit cliché, I think it works to show her as a genial person.

    Hello!
I think the " How Powerful Are Champions According to Lore? " Necrit video helps a lot in the champions identify, and help you to chose who is interesting or what lore line is near to you.
Is a good way to start the voice lines, or champion contacts eachothers videos. :)

Every champion in League has a moniker to go with them. The singer is Karthus, The Deathsinger. Seems appropriate.
    Other band members include:
Bassist: Yorick, The Sheperd of Souls
Drummer: Olaf, The Beserker (he was in The Call)
    Guitarist: Mordekaiser, The Iron Revenant
Keyboardist: Sona, Maiden of the Strings (In the Ryze Cinematic, the Call of Power) She did use one of here abilities, The Song of Celerity.
    Female Vocals: Kayle, The Righteous

I recommend, you react to the "Pentakill III: Lost Chapter - An Interactive Album Experience". Its a animated concert with live motion capture of the band, those are playing humanised versions of the LoL characters they are based of. Back then, the viewers of this concert, could interakt in the live stream by clicking on a button to push his choosen team on the top.

..interesting. The part that intruiges me is the live mocap ....so the characters and their movements - such as keyboardists fingers or guitarists fingers being accurate yet being done by the League heros.. Am I understanding this right?
The interactive feature was probably so much fun!
