    Coming very late to this video, but can't understand why it's so underrated. Was great to hear more of this often overlooked instrument: a lovely sound and fascinating to hear the subtleties that go into making it sound just right. Thank you.

      That is a bassoon, no horn. But I agree, this bassoon has a beautiful sound....

      @@alexandrakellermann2933 Hi Alexandra. "Horn" is what bassoonists and contrabassoonists colloquially call their instruments sometimes. But you are correct, it's not a horn. Are you a horn player?
