These are based on the same Marathon/TR/TRX range the F1 and OG L.A. Trainer is based on.
I could not justify these considering I copped the adidas Pop Trading Co TRX for $93.50 from the adidas App with a Bday code. The PTC TRX seems equally premium in the upper build with an EVA midsole and what feels underfoot like a blown rubber trail outsole.
The FOGA L.A. Runner is cool, and it’s priced along the lines of a WB drop. I just prefer the PTC TRX in every way.
By the way, the Iniki and Retropy E5, also based on those ‘70s and ‘80s runners, look incredibly similar to this.

My only complaint is, for that price point they should have a Lightstrike Pro midsole.
If jerry stick to the OG LA 4:40 upper wavy shape maybe it would be my top 5 sneaker of the year. It would compliment the wave sole on the wave upper
This shoe reminds me of the Adidas "Forest Grove" as well.

i passed on these initially cuz i'd rather spend that $170 on a few bags of groceries 😂 I have both colorways Nike Fog Moccs/Raids & Chucks. Rock em a ton. This shoe makes me miss the Adidas Iniki Runners, had a lil collection of those. Def might have to pick these up soon 🤙
I have a pair of Navy Blue Gum Sole Iniki Boosts and they’re super comfortable. Wish they brought them back with a stiffer upper, since the canvas upper on the Iniki felt a bit too comfortable/casual and not great for walking
@@dialedmedia_ those Navy/Gum joints were my favorite. Rocked em to the ground. and i agree, my foot would slip around/over the sole itself esp. during lateral movements. not sure where i put them shits but they dirty/worn af and retired now 😂

I dunno I really Love this, i coped the original & this clay. Love the wave outsole & iniki top lol I think if it has a boost in it it would sell out more but overall the structure for me so fire.
The i5923 is what these remind me of , but they had boost. Those also ran big.
These look nice (which the basketball shoes are nice too) but I think I’m not fashionable enough that I’d buy these to style with my current wardrobe.

I've noticed on a few reviews you've said the regular toe box was good for you but on closeup it looks like your foot is spilling over the footbed, stretching the upper!! I've a WIDE foot, intrigued to see which models you wear in a regular/wide/x-wide fitting?!!

Outsole is the best part
Adidas is absurd with how inconsistent their sizing is. They've been releasing nice kicks, these included, but I don't wanna drop close to 2 bills for a new model where I'm not sure it'll fit right
