Thanks mate, it is amazing how much the brain can work all these angles out, some branches you only see for a split second but you are left with an almost 3d map in the mind of where is safe and where is sure death.
lol its all for the thrill of it ;) thanks for your comments, I'm sure you could find a beautiful spot in most places around the world that's good for FPV, football or rugby pitches are fun because you have the posts and all the lines to play with trying to stay over them etc.
Wow! That was really amazing. It's vids like these that fuel my passion to get into RC Quads and FPV. I'm just starting out and can only look on and enjoy what you're doing. Keep up the great vids; I'm learning a lot!
Thanks for your comments. I don't use the GoPro as my main FPV camera because I don't like to have all my eggs in one basket, if the GoPro cuts out or freezes then I'm lost, I use the extra FPV camera also because I have that sat where I can see the props and get a better perspective for flying rather than the fish eye, pointing down view I get from the GP
Thanks Bruce, I don't do many dives as it eats up too much batterie that could be used doing more fun things like close proximity. While diving it reminds me of that old SNES game were the skydiver has to drop through the balloon rings, great fun!
Nice job. Lots of fun challenges, not the least of which is just seeing those branches against a bright background. I find it easier to fly under/through trees under an overcast sky.
Cheers mate, I had been wanting to pull that move for a while but never found a spot good enough until now, I main flaw was pulling this move near the end of the batteries life. It was such a rush that I will be doing it again.
I'm based in west Devon, UK. We have some amazing area's of natural beauty and world heritage which also in turn helps the FPV video's more interesting I think :)
Thanks for your brilliant comment. Well what can I say... I must be insane. The quadcopter is not water proof at all, but I find flying over water is an amazing adrenalin rush because you know if you make one mistake then its all over. Wait for my next video as in that my quad gets full submersed in water after hitting a bridge...great fun
Thanks mate, yes it was a bit scary, I had added too much throttle and then while pulling it back it dropped too fast hence I hit the stone, as soon as that happened I git reverse pitch and full throttle which got me out of there quick!
Thanks mate, no I did not attempt a second shot at this trick, instead we went up the other end of the land and I did that high altitude dive which you see earlier in the video so you can see the Quad was ok after the crash
Haha you guys are great pilots, when you crashed it looked like you were intentionally flying at those trees, and very quickly! But it makes for great videos so keep it up
Man you're sick,!!! Should be restrained, prevented from any more fpv without some kind of licence. I'm sick with envy at your location here man :-). Seriously, I'm in fpv hell where I am at the moment. Well done anyhow, keep it up. Few
Great skills, I was immediately impressed with the first shot, under the bridge. I see you have an FPV cctv-like camera, why don't you use the gopro for FPV?
Im less impressed by the flying and more impressed by the fact you can fly fpv standing up, and on a narrow bridge at that. I damn near fall out my chair flying fpv. Id so fall of that bridge into the drink. Maybe I just get too immersed.

Thank you, there is a fine line between bravery and madness, I like to sit in the grey area between those two.

Thank you very much, this farm still holds plenty more FPV sessions ;)
Very nice! Your proximity flying is just getting better and better. Wish I had the nerve to do that.

Wow, fantastic. You've got a really nicely tuned quad - that high speed dive was so stable!
Nice job. Lots of fun challenges, not the least of which is just seeing those branches against a bright background. I find it easier to fly under/through trees under an overcast sky.
Definitely, I have been looking forward to a meeting :) we have some good weather coming up so maybe some time soon.

Bit of a brown trouser moment at 1:07 haha. Fantastic flight as usual cheers for sharing!

Cheers Nate, the next video is going to be good as I ditch it into a river by accident of course.
Sketchy! cool vid
Mad flying !
great video
We need to do some air to air flight recording at some point let me know when your flying next :)
I love the brave try at the end :). Didi you go for 2nd try after the crash?
