My children were also born in the 1960s. WE used to take them to children's Orchestral Concerts at the Royal Festival Hall, in the 1970s, and the first Earl of Snowdon was often there , sitting in the Royal Box , with David, Sarah and the Queen Mother. They once went on the stage , with other children who were present. They held onto a long garden hose , with a glass funnel at one end and a "silver "" mouth piece at the other end. The Conductor then got David to blow on the mouth piece , to show the children how a French Horn is constructed with a similar long brass tube . My son still remembers this incident , and I expect David Armstrong does too.

I suspect the artistry of David & Sarah helped keep them both grounded & sane during the worst excesses of parents & press.
They seem like bright lovely people.
Have known that David is a very good carpenter.
I'm from that same generation. I was born in 1964. By the way Warwick is pronounced Warick, the second w is silent.
My family ❤
