In this video I talk about the new podcast u started and why it kept me from RUclips for 2 weeks. . #running #marathontraining #podcast . Podcast link open.spotify.c...
Congrats on the podcast launch Neil! I can relate to that uneasy feeling about officially putting something you created out to the world and sharing it, but as you say it's a sign that you're out of your comfort zone and we should seek that. Add the podcast to your YT links and video description!
Congrats on the new podcast, Neil! 🎉 It’s awesome to see you branching out and diving into something new. Love the dedication and the fact you pushed through the anxiety to get it started, hehe. Keep up the great work, dear friend!
Thanks very much Stevo. I did a podcast yesterday where I talk about Herat Rate Training and I mentioned the Maffatone Method and that I'd revisit that in another episode. Would you be interested in talking about it as an episode in a couple of weeks?
@@RunSensible mate that does sound good but I don’t feel professional enough for that really to talk about it in depth. I had good results doing MAF but I think it’s because I was new to running. I kind of faded away from it and went ahead with my own made HR whilst following the other principles of MAF so I might not be the best to give advice on the whole subject. Maybe in the future though if I revisit it. Thanks though
Nice work starting a podcast. I don't think I can talk enough for that sort of thing. There'd be way too much dead air! Congrats on pushing yourself out of the comfort zone. Good stuff always comes from it.
Glad to hear the training has been ticking over nicely Neil. The podcast sounds wicked mate I have dropped it a follow on Spotify so I can stay up to date with all the new episodes. Look forward to listening to the first 3 😎🤘
Yes it sure is. The last time I was this consistent was 2018. Then I took a year out and then Corona struck. Going in holiday in 2 weeks time and once I get back I have 17 weeks of marathon training before Valencia.
@@RunSensible Usually stay with a friend up in Kimmage. The last time I was home I ran out on the gravel trail in UCD which was perfect for me. Find it hard these days to run on the harder surfaces. Any feedback on other places would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Congrats on getting your podcast started. That's great news.
@@markg99 thanks, Mark. It's remarkably a lot easier than RUclips. 🙈🙈

@@ChloeHamard thanks Chloe. I'll add those links. Hadn't thought of that. I'm also working on learning how to podcast live on YT

Thanks, AJ. It's actually remarkly easier and far less time consuming than RUclips.

@@BenNotley thanks, Ben. I really appreciate that. I may come knocking on your door sometime soon to have you as a guest?
@@RunSensible that would be cool mate. 😊👍 Not sure I have any good advice to share though 🤣
@@BenNotley I disagree.
@@RunSensible too kind mate. 😊👍
Good luck brother
@@baydafitness2236 thanks a lot. 👊
Fair play. How you have the time to make youtube videos, podcasts, work and train. Hope it goes well 👌
@@SwimBikeRunStu thanks Stu. It'll be a challenge alright.
Exciting times there. This must be the most solidly consistent training you've completed for a few years?

Hi Neil, planning to visit Dublin later this year. Just wondering what's the name of the park you run in? Look like a great place to run! Thanks
