Great post, like you're info you give, put a 140 mai jet and a 48 idle seems to to be good will know better when it war s up in Ohio about thirty here now ! Keep us posted thanks.
Thanks for the comment, 30 in Ohio , try Oklahoma, I was there for 2 years riding a 125 Honda XL @15 degrees for several seasons during the early 90s, then Tornado extreme. My goodness, my fingertips hated that weather.
Compared to the originals, the ride on these is quieter and do not make as much noise, much better cornering and braking on asphalt, they grab the concrete really good. Decent on sand, I will test out on the field with muddy terrain and water in the next month or so Tire pressure set at 15, front and rear, this combo allows me to apply the brakes and stop on asphalt better than using a lower pressure (11-12 for dirt and sandy terrain). Wearing out evenly, 300miles on them and looking good.
The MSO must state "Motorcycle", For some reason some of these bikes were labeled as Dirt Bike or Off Road vehicles on the original MSO's. I had a DMV go as far as calling my MSO a fake even though they never saw one before. It took me about a month to get a corrected MSO from the vendor stating that it was a "Motorcycle"
@@williamfoster4268 - I agree on the frustration, it took me 3 tries, also if you bought only 1 bike, be sure that they send the bill of sale with the words motorcycle on it, and that it has the vin # . The DMV gave me a hard time at the beginning and 1 day a year later I went to a rapid registration office and they did not have a problem issuing a title and a registration, In my case $300. The MSO should include Motorcycle 250CC and / or 19 HP Vin # Dont forget the Bill of sale Let me know if you need any other help. ----------- These parts are up to you At least 50/50 tires (enduro) Better carb (nibbi 30mm) Decrease teeth on rear sprocket for better gear ratio on the street
@@pricedownmall I made an appointment two weeks from now, showing up without one means a 3 hour wait, no joke. So hopefully the correct MSO shows up with the bill of sale before that. When I made the order I specifically asked for an MSO that said "motorcycle" but it was ignored. I do have a 42 tooth rear sprocket but I haven't installed it yet. I will most likely change the tires, the OEM tires are too much for the street.
Wow!! I thought people lost interest on it. I still have it in the same spot in my garage. I did assemble the new motors and installed the new blades. Perhaps I will get that project a jumpstart (another one again).
@@SharkZoneGaming-m2r It really all depends, 5'10, 5' 11 is about right for it. 180lbs. The default height which is set 1/2 on the rear and pretty stiff shock ( set for dirt /off-road is perfect) The 250s are great but I would get a Titan DLX instead for a shorter rider, the Titans are also sold by powermax. The suspension is softer and set for road riding instead but could handle dirt fine too. The suspension is not as aggressive as the Templars Are you looking to have your feet flat on the ground? You could always get a set of lowering links for the rear suspension and then drop the forks a little.
@@SharkZoneGaming-m2r Flat on ground, It is mainly a comfort thing and when stopping at lights for instance. If you are on dirt you also want to have control of the bike.
All original, I only replaced the carburator on the Templar. I will be increasing the main jet to the 130, It seems like Im still running a little lean.
I can do a quick test run and let you know. My bike has 5 gears so the RPM even at 55mph would be high. I will post the results for speed on my video with the new 40T sprocket installed, Stock 47T sprocket is to high for street in my opinion. The nibbi makes the bike accelerate quicker.
Thanks so much! I'll be keeping an eye out for that video. I'm only 5'6, so I think the 6 speed model would be too big for me. I'd also love to know what the 40T does to the bike's low end power.@@pricedownmall
@Nicole-wj7yq - The 6 gear transmission would provide you with higher top speed, The 40T will add to that speed. Low end will decrease a little but the mid range will increase specially when adding the Nibbi. I'll post the video soon, Most likely by the end of this week.

How do these tires behave on the road when maneuvering? and what tire pressure you use on the road.

Hey, when you registered your X-Pro in Florida did your MSO state "off road motorcycle" or "motorcycle"?
