It's funny-- I don't know a plie from a jete (had to look those words up) but I find this work fascinating. If nothing else, it made clear to me how movement itself is a powerful way of expressing poetic and emotional content, in a way I had not understood before.
What a pity not to have the DVD of the original performance. But lucky enough to have this one that looks so faithfully similar to the 1st. Glad I could now buy the DVD :-)
