১৯৯৫/৯৬ তে আমার বয়স ১৯/২০..... । জীবনটা অসম্ভব রঙিন ছিলো সেসময়। ইউটিউব স্ক্রল করতে করতে হঠাৎ এ ভিডিও টা পেলাম প্রায় সাড়ে ১১ মিনিটের এই ভিডিওটি অসম্ভব ভালোলাগা নিয়ে দেখছিলাম। ভিডিওর প্রতিটি মানুষ, ঘরের কোন্, টিভি, নিত্যনৈমিত্তিক অনাড়ম্বর জীবনকে নিজের মনে হচ্ছিলো...... । কি অসাধারণ অনুভূতি !!! ভাষায় প্রকাশ যোগ্য না। যাঁর ইউটিউব চ্যানেল থেকে পেলাম এটি, তাঁর প্রতি অশেষ কৃতজ্ঞতা। তিনি আমাকে ১১ মিনিটের জন্য ২৮ বছর আগের জীবনে ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে গেছেন..... !!!!

That vintage vibe of Dhaka back then is unmatched to any other vibes that are currently going on. My father passed away in 2012. I can feel how rich our culture was seeing his photos. My mother in a sunglass pairing with my father at kuakata, that photo, that calmness of the atmosphere is gone forever. 90's weather was something else ig. From day to night an aesthetic vibe always used to prevail that time. Dhaka was at top when it was spelled dacca. Genetics of people was strong, style was strong and unique than most of the countries around the world. Ngl My parents used to spend top days. This video is so vintage. It cannot be a crime to say that this video is the best vlog that has ever recorded than most of the vlogs out there.
The thing is poverty was still there in dhaka or any other district before.But the overpopulation made the city worse day by day.Still to this day our government never talks about overpopulation and what they should do to reduce it or start a new law where only 1 kid is allowed in 1 family.
You don't know how much I'm surprised and happy seeing this. First of all its soo relatable when the uncles were talking. It's the best Dhaka vlog for all generations. It can't be better than this ! I was born in 1994. I remember a lot of things of 99,00,01 . These were wonderful days. Low voltage bulb were so popular these days. At night we used to watch BTV. We had only one channel. In Dhaka city most of the buildings were 3-5 story building unlike todays building. Life was simple.

I went to this particular Banijjo mela too and bought two carpets from the Iranian pavilion which are still in use at my home ! Those were the days of real banijjo mela, where real foreigners used to come and sell their goods , now its just garbage full of frauds !

Whenever I see such vintage videos from this channel of Mr. Bashir Ali, I feel huge respect for this man. I was a broken heart 13-year-old boy at the time of this video ( Jan 1995) as I was detained in class 8 following a combined decision of my parents and then Head Master of Government Laboratory High School, Dhaka. For entertainment cassettes for audio player, game cartridges for the TV video game, Thunder Cats cassettes for VCR from Baitul Mukaraam and BAKEYR Bhai Natok. I still remember I used to cry to go to Banijjo Mela so that I can buy toys and video game cartridges... My GOD... Nostalgic.

I was born in 1998, also my birthplace was Dhaka. This depiction is so good and I also lived those days in my childhood. Everything turned into something else maybe from 2006-2007. From then modernism started to kick in. I still go and see the house and area in which I was brought up. A lot of things have changed now. Even I am a changed man from top to bottom. But those memories still remain fresh in my mind, in my heart. I feel the days of my childhood. I still belong to the same energetic, humorous club that I was back then, but my world has changed. This video tormented so many ideas in my head that I just could not split them out. Thanks for reliving those memories man. Thank you so so much.
I usually don't comment on videos, but this one got me real hard. I was 12 years old at that time. Living in Sahjahanpur, Dhaka. Spending the best days of my life as an adolescent lad. Carefree, tension free. I remember going to that particular trade fair along with my dad. We bought our first color TV from that premises. Life was so peaceful back then. Environment was so serene. I am now a middle aged man living in another country. Lost so many bosoms in between. Life has turned upside-down, too complex, unbearable. Wish I could go back to those days again but it's a one way road. Gotta go where I am destined to.

It's so tough to accept that world is changing but not in a positive manner. The simplicity people had back at that time makes me feel so good. I wish we could live to be happy rather than faking and showing it to others. Whenever i find old videos like that it makes me cry so much. I feel so helpless just thinking that i will lose people, all my closed ones, oneday i will go as well. The world will become a new world for the next generation and they will search old videos of this time and explore their memories.

Bashir bhai. My heartful thank you for uploading this video. I am writing this with a little drop of happy tears in my eyes. I was 5 years old in 1995. My home in Chittagong had the same sort of looks with my mum cooking in the kitchen. Every weekend we had my chachas and fufis round our house and had a lovely get together whilst the elders had a nice time socialising. My chacha used to live in Dhaka and we would often go to visit them with our full family. Have futchka and I used to be a die hard fan of shooting the balloons game. If I could have recorded my time back then, my videos would have similar to this one. Just brought so many memories as I am watching this video on a really challenging grid shift at night. Full respect for uploading this, may Allah bless you all. Give my salam to all the family members. Just let them know I enjoyed remembering those beautiful memories with my family through your family ❤❤
I am a teenager girl and i don't relate to any of this. But still this video feels very nostalgic and close to me. Idk but there is something about this video that i can't explain. It feels like the stories my parents and older family members have told about their childhood.

That vintage vibe of Dhaka back then is unmatched to any other vibes that are currently going on. My father passed away in 2012. I can feel how rich our culture was seeing his photos. My mother in a sunglass pairing with my father at kuakata, that photo, that calmness of the atmosphere is gone forever. 90's weather was something else ig. From day to night an aesthetic vibe always used to prevail that time. Dhaka was at top when it was spelled dacca. Genetics of people was strong, style was strong and unique than most of the countries around the world. Ngl My parents used to spend top days. This video is so vintage. It cannot be a crime to say that this video is the best vlog that has ever recorded than most of the vlogs out there.

The thing is poverty was still there in dhaka or any other district before.But the overpopulation made the city worse day by day.Still to this day our government never talks about overpopulation and what they should do to reduce it or start a new law where only 1 kid is allowed in 1 family.

I was born in 1994. I remember a lot of things of 99,00,01 . These were wonderful days. Low voltage bulb were so popular these days. At night we used to watch BTV. We had only one channel. In Dhaka city most of the buildings were 3-5 story building unlike todays building. Life was simple.
ভিডিও টা খুব আগ্রহ নিয়ে দেখলাম। আর আমি শুধু বিস্মিত হলাম। আমার জন্ম ১৯৯১ এ.... সেই সময়ের এমন একটা daily vlog type ভিডিও ভাবাই যায় না। আমার ছোটবেলা টা খুব মিস করছি। ইস আমিও যদি পারতাম এভাবে আমার শৈশবের কিছু স্মৃতি ধরে রাখতে! খুব ভালো লাগতো ভিডিওর পেছনের গল্পগুলো জানতে পারলে। ❤
ওই সময়ে আমিও ভিডিওর ছোট বাচ্চাগুলোর মত ছিলাম। দেখে স্মৃতি কাতর হয়ে গেলাম। নিজের শৈশব, ফেলে আসা সময় সব যেন চোখের সামনে ভেসে উঠলো।

I went to this particular Banijjo mela too and bought two carpets from the Iranian pavilion which are still in use at my home ! Those were the days of real banijjo mela, where real foreigners used to come and sell their goods , now its just garbage full of frauds !

I was a broken heart 13-year-old boy at the time of this video ( Jan 1995) as I was detained in class 8 following a combined decision of my parents and then Head Master of Government Laboratory High School, Dhaka. Thank you very much indeed, Sir, Ali for posting such vintage memories and momentarily taking me back to those days. Stay blessed by the Rahmat of Allah Subhaana wa Taala.

I was born in 1998, also my birthplace was Dhaka. This depiction is so good and I also lived those days in my childhood. Everything turned into something else maybe from 2006-2007. From then modernism started to kick in. I still go and see the house and area in which I was brought up. A lot of things have changed now. Even I am a changed man from top to bottom. But those memories still remain fresh in my mind, in my heart. I feel the days of my childhood. I still belong to the same energetic, humorous club that I was back then, but my world has changed. This video tormented so many ideas in my head that I just could not split them out. Thanks for reliving those memories man. Thank you so so much.

I usually don't comment on videos, but this one got me real hard. I was 12 years old at that time. Living in Sahjahanpur, Dhaka. Spending the best days of my life as an adolescent lad. Carefree, tension free. I remember going to that particular trade fair along with my dad. We bought our first color TV from that premises. Life was so peaceful back then. Environment was so serene. I am now a middle aged man living in another country. Lost so many bosoms in between. Life has turned upside-down, too complex, unbearable. Wish I could go back to those days again but it's a one way road. Gotta go where I am destined to.

It's so tough to accept that world is changing but not in a positive manner. The simplicity people had back at that time makes me feel so good. I wish we could live to be happy rather than faking and showing it to others. Whenever i find old videos like that it makes me cry so much. I feel so helpless just thinking that i will lose people, all my closed ones, oneday i will go as well. The world will become a new world for the next generation and they will search old videos of this time and explore their memories.

কিছুটা সময়ের জন্য মনে হয়েছিলো যেন আমি ৯৫ সালে চলে গেছি। আপনারা বেশ সুখি ও ভাগ্যবান যে পুরনো ঢাকাটাকেও দেখেছেন আর বর্তমানকেও দেখছেন। বর্তমান জ্যাম আর দূষণে ভরা ঢাকার আর সেই সময়ের ঢাকার রূপের অনেক পার্থক্য রয়েছে।

Bashir bhai. My heartful thank you for uploading this video. I am writing this with a little drop of happy tears in my eyes. I was 5 years old in 1995. My home in Chittagong had the same sort of looks with my mum cooking in the kitchen. Every weekend we had my chachas and fufis round our house and had a lovely get together whilst the elders had a nice time socialising. My chacha used to live in Dhaka and we would often go to visit them with our full family. Have futchka and I used to be a die hard fan of shooting the balloons game. If I could have recorded my time back then, my videos would have similar to this one. Just brought so many memories as I am watching this video on a really challenging grid shift at night. Full respect for uploading this, may Allah bless you all. Give my salam to all the family members. Just let them know I enjoyed remembering those beautiful memories with my family through your family ❤❤

I am a teenager girl and i don't relate to any of this. But still this video feels very nostalgic and close to me. Idk but there is something about this video that i can't explain. It feels like the stories my parents and older family members have told about their childhood.

I was born in 1994 December at Rampura my brother, sister, father & mother, used to tell me how much happier their at that time, life was so easy. Now everything changed in 30 years. Everything is complected & the roads are not safe anymore. Thank you so much for the wonderful video.
