I can't believe Gordon was so rude to Donald and Douglas by calling them dirty goods engines I think they would look very dashing if they was washed and polished
One thing that has me scratching my head here... ...how the heck would railway officials mistake a double-headed pair of Caledonian 812s for a Doncaster A1? Plus the typical situation of using an A1, an engine that's _specifically not built for shunting,_ to shunt goods wagons. He should have been put on a local passenger train, or maybe an expedited goods train.
Slight error in that Donald and Douglas are back to black in the final shots, but aside from that, good job! Richard Jordan’s story is brilliantly, and I like the way you shot it. I like the occasional shots where you blur the background before focusing it on the characters.
The focus pulls? Ah I love doing those shots, as I feel it really gives more depth to the scene rather than having everything in focus in the same shot.
@@4fproductions637 You know, the blue Scottish engines could be purposely or coincidentally (whichever you decide) a reference to their counterparts in the RWS books, since they became blue as well.
Like Gordon the big Blue Engine hes always had a big ego and James has also an ego But Henry is actually the most friendliest engine Since Henry's one of the bigger engines he does not hurt any of the smaller engines our engines cause hes kind He knows when some other accident happens and that's why hes one of the friendliest biggest green engines on the island of sodor Henry's my favorite big engine James doesn't have using ego James usually Is the trickiest As sneakiest engine Cause you can tell James likesneaking around other engines
That shot of the twins crossing the bridge in the sunset I thought was really cool! Also what is the name of the theme playing in the credits and who's it by? It's very catchy
Pride cometh before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall! And a little bit assisted by a bureaucratic hiccup at the works! Through neither Douglas and Donald's doing!
If you think about it Donald and Douglas are kind of similar to Henry because because down in Douglas are actually one of the most friendliest Scottish twins They don't even mind They're just like Henry And they're friendly too But I will say don't need to teasing twins are actually bill and Ben
I don’t think the Scottish Twins are mistaken as Gordon because there’s one of him and two of them instead. I think Donald and Douglas would be mistaken for Edward instead.
Wouldn’t the same logic apply though? There’s only one of Edward and two of Donald and Douglas. And if you think about it, coupled together, the twins resemble Gordon’s size more closely than Edward’s, since Edward is smaller than just one twin. At least Gordon is slightly bigger than one twin.
Amazing work 4F. This is one of my favorite stories you've done. Although, I would've thought that Gordon would've stormed down the mainline after them. Also, I love your theme from the ending credits too, where is it from?
I'm glad that near the end of this show that down and Douglas actually shut it Gordon's mouth Gordon you shouldn't shut your mouth before because yet be careful what you say to the 2 Scottish twins And Gordon you're totally not the engine of Pride of the LINE Like Gordon you have a big Ego
Gordon is not Pride of the line since Gordon is a big engine he's rude to the other engines but that's mean hurting the Scottish engines I like the way how Donald and Douglas tricked Gordon and Henry's also another engine that pulls the express also the Henry respect the other engines and so does James
Love the rendition of the twins theme during their express run
Nice to see D&D's back in black paint after pulling express in the end.
I feel like none of this would have happened if Gordon didn't make it personal XD
Never insult a Scottish engine, let alone two
Whether it be Engines or People... The Scottish are a very fiesty bunch... and i wouldn't have them any other way lol
The Scottish Twins teaches Gordon a lesson
I like them painted blue
Excellent work with all the extra scenery shots! Helps us to see D&D's Express journey through to the end.
Ngl read D&D as Dungeons and Dragons like 6 times before I read it as Donald and Douglas 😂
There can't be a better engine duo in the TTTE franchise...
...Than Donald and Douglas lol
I can definitely see this happening in real life
Intentional or not, thanks for sticking with true railway logic!
i love your take on the cinematography - the kind of work i'd dream of performing in real life!
Imagine if the Twins kept their blue paint schemes
A different shade of Blue. Say Caledonia Blue.
This is one superb story that Richard Jordan has written. I loved how Donald and Douglas made Gordon look at fool with their trickery :) .
I can't believe Gordon was so rude to Donald and Douglas by calling them dirty goods engines I think they would look very dashing if they was washed and polished

5:00 i just love how they realize their as blue as
GORDON
I love the nod to D&D's Caldonian livery from the RWS^^
This is one of those stories that wouldn’t work in the RWS as blue was their standard colour.
Oh dear! Gordon's arrogance will catch him up and out! An opportunity to do so. Will occur!
I know other people have commented about this, but what is the remix of Donald & Douglas' Theme at 7:32? I swear I can't find it anywhere...
Awesome shots, and everything else! I love the way you messed with the post processing settings! Keep it up
Gordon you're not the only one that's painted red light sky blue and black Thomas's & Edwards painted in that color
2:14 “You two are painted black and are filthy.”
Donald & Douglas’ could’ve just called Gordon racist and ended everything there
Thing is the "Race" card is so overused it basically means nothing now...
Aye the twins will Always pay you back if you ever mess them
I noticed you used the Castle in the Sky opening as your intro. I love that movie.
I was wondering when someone was going to notice that XD. Yeah that might be a standard for the intro card from this video onwards.
Fantastic work! And we get to see the twins in their blue coats from the books!
3:15 ...that a Richard cameo?
Yes XD, although it's really the EDH6 N15 model from the Trainz download station with Richard's number.
@@4fproductions637 hi I'm also a 4f
@@4fproductions637 where can i find the theme for donald and douglas pulling the express
Where can i find this varient of the twins theme (7:36)
It was nice hanging out in the video
I really love the steam from the engine models. Although I wonder why Thomas's seems different.
I think the twins have give you a taste of your own medicine Gordon
Oh yes! You do have Richard!
You just earned a sub dude. Excellent work 👌
Amazing work
Hey love your videos they’re a work of art also can you send me the link to those coaches that the twins were pulling in the thumbnail of the video

I think that was on purpose, they were probably painted back to black to avoid further confusion.
@@HGM19922 yeah that's the idea. Later on that day they head back to the works and get repainted back into their old colours.

I noticed the southern engine at the station and that number is Richard’s right their
Love the reference to the Richard videos
This was a pretty good story

definetly a favorite story always enjoyable
I kinda wish that Donald and Douglas kept their blue coats in the end
Donald and Douglas are the biggest trolls on the entire isle.
finaly some nice content i havnt else wise seen !
That shot of the twins crossing the bridge in the sunset I thought was really cool! Also what is the name of the theme playing in the credits and who's it by? It's very catchy
Look at Gordon now he's a good engines and Donald and Douglas just pay the price on Gordon
Be careful banging those trucks Gordon. They might come back to bump you or another engine off the track
7:33
I really like that video Donald and Douglas were black in the TV series and then they were blue in the railway series
4:47 is it me or is the fact that the twins are Blue as a reference to the RWS books?
It is
So this is where they got the blue paint models from.
Pride cometh before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall! And a little bit assisted by a bureaucratic hiccup at the works! Through neither Douglas and Donald's doing!
Donald and Douglas basically look like James
Where did you get the theme of Donald and Douglas whilst they’re double heading the express?
I had the same question!
I talked to him about that and he said he got it from a google drive he got
They should have said Donald and Douglas double heading the express
Oh!! Gordon has got the come uppances.
If you think about it Donald and Douglas are kind of similar to Henry because because down in Douglas are actually one of the most friendliest Scottish twins They don't even mind They're just like Henry And they're friendly too But I will say don't need to teasing twins are actually bill and Ben
Red, blue, “and red”?
I love your trainz videos, the cameos, the camera views, everything, has it ever accured to you to make your own Thomas series?
I don’t think the Scottish Twins are mistaken as Gordon because there’s one of him and two of them instead. I think Donald and Douglas would be mistaken for Edward instead.

Could I have the link to D&D’s express theme?
3:04 I'M HATE BILLY THE ORANGE TANK ENGINE
Nice video - good to see Gordon get his comeuppance! What's the theme you used for the credits called?
I find some the stories made by skarloey123 interesting cause I wish these episodes were made by David mitton and be a rws story
Amazing work 4F. This is one of my favorite stories you've done. Although, I would've thought that Gordon would've stormed down the mainline after them. Also, I love your theme from the ending credits too, where is it from?
Blue donald and Blue douglas

What happened to Donald and Douglas's drivers and firemen when they were pulling the Express??
Amazing
No he didn't Sir Topham Hatt didn't paint you that way make you stand out different
where are the blue reskins form for the twins
