@@DaniAtkinson, This was Axl in is his prime. He was not tired (running on a huge stage & singing at the same time is one of the things which makes him so unique to this day), but it is possible that there could have been some drinking/ drugs/ bad mood (or a combination thereof) involved, which may have given you the impression that Axl was tired. GnR are awesome & I believe that the band is clean from the drinking, drugs & random moods, these days :)
Yes I remember when this came out. I think my friend had it as a single we listened to it in the car all the time. GN’R was my favorite band at the time. It was such a fun time to be alive and young. So vibrant. I saw them twice that year. They had a live version of knockin that came out around 89 before the studio version. Would play on radio all the time. Was my favorite but never found it in stores. My boss at the time hated axl and claimed it wasn’t a real live performance. We had such dumb arguments over this song funny looking back in it now. My friends uncle came in the room once when a GN’R video was on and he goes “hey isn’t that Asshole Rose?” We all cracked up and referenced that moment for years. Good times. Good job as always Dani!
GnR had some incredible performances at the 1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute concert. Axl was a huge Queen fan. He was an electric front man, running and jumping around the stage constantly. Energetic, to say the least 😉
Okay. I got to the end of the video where you said you already reacted to Bob's version, so never mind. I'd even made a comment on that post saying Bob's studio version is the masterpiece.
Dani Great job with your reaction and thoughts on Guns and Roses Live performance of there Cover of Knocking On Heavens Door from Bob Dylan. Live from the Concert For Life the Freddie Mercury Tribute. The being Words Axl Rose was singing was from a Different Song. Alice Cooper only Women Bleed.
Dani you definitely should check out Sweet Child Of Mine from Tokyo 92 and Axl Rose with Queen doing WE Will Rock You from This concert you doing a reaction from now.
He is a guy who runs all over the stage for 2 hours. Im sure he isnt tired after 1 song Dani 😂
do you know how many songs he performed before this one? He looks winded at the start of it!
@@DaniAtkinson they only performed Paradise City and this as GnR but Axl did bohemian rhapsody and we will rock you too that night.

Brings me back to my teenage years. Love your reaction. Guns and Roses singing this gives me chills everytime.
Music can transport you, isn’t that the best?
Love your breakdowns and hearing your thoughts on them. Good job 👍👍
One of the only hard rock bands I like.

The intro into the song is Alice Coopers -Only Women Bleed
Dani thanks for reacting to this Song. This brings back a lot of memories.
He dose Almost 4 hour shows
Has been quite awhile since I heard this classic tune by GNR. My kids and their friends were bigger fans than I was but I enjoyed their music.
And that’s played on a fifth of Jack and snowy alps if you get my meaning 😅.
Guns n Roses, Estranged live in Tokyo. One of the best live records of the world
They only played 2 songs at this but their 2plus hour concerts he would run around for 90% of the show. his energy level was insane
Great reaction 🤘🤘
I’m happy you enjoyed it Michael!
Wonderful version of this song TYD 🤗
Nice song
Bob Dylans version is a masterpiece. Do the studio version from Bob if you haven't heard it. Axl starts this off with Alice Cooper's Only Women Bleed.
