Story:
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3, called Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3 in Japan, introduces the 'Sasuke Retrieval Arc', a story arc that follows Sasuke's lust for power to kill his treasonous elder brother who, eventually leaves to pursue greater skill. Thus, Naruto along with four other members, give chase to reclaim the missing ninja while running into the immensely powerful Sound Ninja 4 that ultimately leads to Sasuke and Naruto coming to the border between lands: the Final Valley for one last battle.
In 'Ultimate Contest' mode, Naruto works his way through an all-inclusive battle tournament to become the ultimate ninja and topple all of the other fighters to claim his spot as number one of all shinobi.

@@ViewtifulFGC Indeed! Ultimate Ninja 4 and Ultimate Ninja 5 are based on Naruto Shippuden (but you likely guessed that). If memory serves right Ultimate Ninja 4 covers up to episode 14 of Shippuden, however there's a beat-em-up story mode taking place during Naruto and Jiraya's training (and I remember it being awesome). If memory serves right Ultimate Ninja 5 covers up to around episode 50 of Shippuden. Ultimate Ninja 4 released in the US, EU and JP but Ultimate Ninja 5 only released in EU and JP (and that still angers me.)
Might be a good idea to buy Ultimate Ninja 4 soon, I've noticed it's price has been rising. CIB copies usually go for around $20 - $30 but I've seen a couple go for around the $40 range. EU Ultimate Ninja 5 copies usually go for around $60 so good luck trying to find a good deal on the game.
How long has it been? A decade, at least. This was an absolute fucking banger.
