I had a visit with my neurosurgeon today in preparation for a resection of my brainstem after a recent car accident left me with an inability to think clearly. I watched this video just before I went in to see him, and the EEG today showed not only a total absence of electrical activity in my brainstem, but also a rare flatline signal emanating from both of my cerebral hemispheres. My doctor said there was no longer any need to perform the surgery and that a miracle must have happened!
