Which IFAK Pouch Should You Buy?

Brief run through of different style ifak pouches. I discuss the different styles and why they may or may not work for you.
Pouch 1 is the HSGI Bleeder Blowout Pouch
Pouch 2 is the SOE Medical Insert Tray
Pouch 3 is the SOE Compact Tear Off Med Pouch
Pouch 4 is the Ferro Concepts/FOG Roll 1

Ferro Roll1 is a similar copy of Beez Combat’s Blunt except Beez has a tourniquet and trauma shears holder and can be mounted on a battle belt as an option. Also check out Esstac’s DST Medical Pouch Gen 2.

Can you recommend a pouch to fit in a back pocket? I was thinking about packing down the SOE tear-off pouch, but I'm afraid it might be too wide.

Really depends on what style of pants and what all you want to carry. You can research pocket IFAK kits and see what comes up. I personally would get one already put together if possible. Some resources that might be helpful would be…North America Rescue, Refuge Medical, ITS Tactical, Dark Angle Medical, etc. These places sell kits that are already put together and vacuum sealed to compress down the kit and keep everything sterile. However, make sure to keep a TQ outside of the kit and stage it for rapid deployment.

Hey. Thanks. After spending an inordinate amount of time searching for said pounces, I finally found one. Rescue Essentials makes two that are made for my exact purpose. I’m probably going to order one today.
