  • A parent asked a question regarding letter reversal.
In that, the child is writing 'p' as 'b' and 'q' as 'd' as well the numbers.
    So the parent felt worried.
Actually they mentioned that the age of the kid is 5. No need to worry about a 5 year old kid write either letter reversal or number reversal. The kid has enough time change over it.If the kid is continues the above until 7 years,
then only we should find whether the kid has any learning disabilities or any issues in learning.Until before no need to check all these things. Why because either the working memory or the visual professional still may be in a condition that is why the kid will write in a reversal way.So working memory means,
while we cook we will know that these are the ingredients have to put for a dish.
But by mistakes we may change the order.Though we know while we start to do it we forget the order.
So this is called working memory.
So likewise the kid also know the format of writing.
But while writing kid may forgot.
    So no need to worry.Thankyou.
Reversing letters or mirror writing isn’t necessarily a sign of dyslexia. Some kids with dyslexia have trouble with it, but many don’t. In fact, most kids who reverse letters before age 7 end up not having dyslexia. The reason for this has been suggested to be poor working memory and also a lack of visual processing skills. This does not mean your child has a learning difficulty.
