Yes, Seneca, Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius give guidance today. I have overcome many limits and am working on the most difficult one for me: relationships.

That’s a powerful journey you’re on. Relationships can indeed be one of the most challenging areas to navigate, and Stoicism offers valuable insights for personal growth in this aspect as well. Remember, as Seneca said, “We suffer more in imagination than in reality.” By applying Stoic principles-such as focusing on what you can control, maintaining your own virtues, and accepting what others do not change-you can find a more balanced and peaceful approach to your interactions. Keep applying those principles, and you may find that the challenges in relationships become opportunities for growth and deeper understanding. If you ever want to discuss more about this or need any advice, feel free to reach out!

Community. We walk along, weaving through what we believe strangers, going about their daily lives. But we're all known to one another, sharing the same struggles, fighting the same secret wars.
We just don't know eachother's names.
      That's what I believe.

This is great, shame you used Oprah as an example. Used to be a big fan in the 80s. Now she's poison

Stoicism teaches us to focus on the lessons rather than the individual presenting them. The goal is to draw value from examples that illustrate principles of growth and resilience. As Epictetus said, “It is not events themselves that disturb us, but our interpretation of those events.” While opinions about individuals can change, the principles we discuss are intended to be timeless and universal. The essence of the message is what matters most.
