- UPSC has declared the final results for Civil Services Examination 2021. Shruti Sharma has secured All India Rank 1 (AIR-1) and has emerged as the IAS Topper in UPSC CSE 2021.
A total of 685 candidates have been recommended for appointment by UPSC. Several of these successful candidates were trained by BYJU’S IAS in various stages of their IAS preparation.

Iam watching byjus mock interviews for the first time , i used to watch drishti ias interviews . I think byjus panel makes candidate feel better and confident where drishti ias candidates get panic attack sometimes due to their body language and face expressions though they ask very good questions
Nope you're saying it the other way around and tbh I feel Byjus is better bcos they put pressure on the candidate which is ultimately better for the candidate

When you are a history student and you find all your interview board panel members are historian or associates with history then your personality test will goes on through all discussion and deliberation at par excellence owning to nature of excellent and fabulous debate in history and its historiography. 🔥✨

Surely you don't require to know everything, it's just being confident on the topics you know.
Shruti Ma'am has shown that the dream of becoming an I.A.S could become true if you can control your thought process and just focus on action rather than focusing on the result which is not in our control.
The marks aren't out yet. PT marks alone don't get u here.
Edit: she just scored a modest 173 in her PT. So Pushpendra sir was wrong to predict her rank based just on her PT performance when in reality her mains marks got her into top ranks.

This interview shows that the Personality Test is not just about speaking and thinking, but it's also about listening and responding.
Historical questions put forwarded by Pant sir and ma'am are very significant ones.
Not only for her, but also for everyone of us must think of it and look at our history at different perspectives with wide angle views
But how will they know, if they haven't read that coz that is not even being taught to them...

I like this interview not for the sake of the candidate but the paradigm shift I noticed in the panel memebers in the perspective of interpretations of Bharata's history, antiquity, due credit to native Historians & postive connotations. one of the most entertaining mock interview for students who love history❤
I have to say, hands down, this is the best UPSC CSE mock interview I have ever watched.
The questions asked by the panelists represent the wrestling between my thoughts when I consider topics of national importance.
Unlike other coaching institutes, rather than making history a monopoly of NCERT books in the context of UPSC, they have been inclusive of all the existing literature on the concerned issues.
They have gone a step further and tested the propositions put forth by authors of history on the anvil of admissible evidence for decision-making in civil services.
The openness of the panelists in probing the topics with the candidate demonstrates that there is space in the world of UPSC for striving toward the Truth.
Well done, Byju's, and congratulations to the candidate. I believe she will be guided by people like the panelists in her Civil Services career.
Pranam to all the panelists for being open, honest, and straightforward in their speech.
For me, they represent some of the best minds our country has produced, and I sincerely hope to be like them.
P.S.: Re: Amb. Vikas Swarup's question on Vaccine Nationalism.
I was a part of a diplomatic mission's repatriation efforts in India in 2020. While they did not exhibit vaccine nationalism, I saw how nationality can supersede humanity in people's behavior.
I can say for sure, that Bharat will be the greatest power in the world on the basis of her generosity and inclusion. However, it will be a combined effort from each and every Citizen in our country on a daily basis. We just need to be sufficiently respectful of our roots and balance Dandaniti with the philosophy of Vasudev Kutumbakam.

Attention:- Question no. 88 of prelims gs1 2021 set A ..about judiciary in which a statement says that HC has the power to review its own judgement a SC does....which is correct but UPSC in their official answer key.....mark this statement incorrect ...answer suppose to be answer 'c' but acc. To set A answer key it was option 'A' ......
So who is responsible here ....therr are thousands of aspirants who definitely got disqualified by 2 marks.... What is the motive of representation window if aspirant doesn't know his answer is Right or wrong..... UPSC should declare its answer key within 2 days after prelims exam...so that geniune representations make by Students shall be accepted
