Humanity does indeed fear war. We fear war, because we fear what will happen when we have to turn loose the monster forged from millennia of warring among ourselves. We fear we won't be able to put that monster back once it's done.
What humanity despises is what they must become when faced with enemies they can not ally with. When faced with extinction they reveal their ultimate shame. Beneath all their calm, collected demeanor, beneath their harmless jokes and jovial laughs, beneath even their threats and posturing. And yes, beneath their facade of power, that they wield with impunity against those that would go against them. They all have scared, sobbing little creatures inside them. A monster that lacks their wit, and cunning and dignity. But a monster which also lacks their restraint itself. A creature willing to do anything to survive, a creature willing to watch worlds burn if it means their children can prosper. A monster they keep locked away because once they have shown it once, it is all they will ever be remembered for.
We apply rules of war . But if we want to see what we do without the rules, just look at the hundred years war , the rawandan genocide, Cambodia, the Roman wars where they killed everything down to the dogs and cats
Couldn’t agree more,…. Many of my battle brothers & sisters have/had issues putting that monster back in its cage. I was able to figure it out pretty quick after seeing how combat affected my grandfather (Army, WWII) & my father (Marines, Vietnam). I knew if I wanted to serve in the military I had to figure out how to keep my personality separate from soldiering. Thankfully I was able to do exactly that.

It's not so much turning human, more like I feel like she's turning more Military. As they'd mentioned, she was more added into a Brotherhood and is a Comrade in Arms. She is a VETERAN of war. With the combined arms of the joint forces that bypasses borders and territory and races. The Military has its own culture. They cover their own. They respect their own. They support their own. It doesn't matter race or color or fur or species. Miss Rimiki thinks its humanizing, but it's really their military Culture that has an even stronger effect because it doesn't matter what they look like. Once a fellow allied soldier, always a fellow allied soldier. Especially ones that have fought together.
I worked with a Vietnam vet who hated my Thai supervisor, calling him a gook and other derogatory names. But my father was a Korean war vet who fought along side of the Thai regulars and had nothing but admiration and respect for them. He told me one night after a big glass of wine about a firefight that turned close quarters on them and a battalion of Thai regulars. He said that the regulars were a bunch of "crazy mean little bastards" when the Chinese and North Koreans breached their perimeter. There are a handful of stories out there about the "humans God" because humans don't seem to know of one. Other races have warrior gods, or intellectual gods etc. Until one day ours shows up. And yes, it is death himself. Says he created for us a planet of death, from animals, the land, the weather. A planet to make us strong and cunning and wise. A planet that would forge in humans an iron will to never back down or give in. And he accepted that we would never worship him or know him. But he will always be the last friend who stands by our side and helps us to the other side. I thought it was a really cool description. He made us tough as nails, hard as iron, never demanding anything of us, but always ready at the end to be with us. There's another one where we are losing a war so badly that there are only a handful of humans left and the aliens witness us in a weird ritual chanting gibberish. Until a deep voice echoes through reality. Turns out we summoned Cthulhu. Who is a bit incredulous that we are totally cool with him ending reality and driving all life into utter madness. He keeps asking if we're really okay with that.
This universe is what happens when the author THINKS THROUGH their decisions and doesn't just slap things together at random, plus they take feedback into account. Early comments on the first story of Golden Plume Engineer Naleeli and the training regimen for Earth have now grown to include nano-tech, introduced in a later story of Freiren's Armor Training, to help improve the realism of that story and shore-up the concept in places where it didn't work.
They support the story. They don't support the story particularly well, but it's better than nothing. What really supports the story are the human voices. This actor in particular is quite good, despite the lack of editing and correction takes. The other actors are alright, but this one is carrying the series.
When no one was around they relaxed and was so human in the way he smoked and she drink her coffee. They're so human now that they cant see themselves and their "humanity"

I like a lot of these stories y'all made. This one was exceptionally well done, and I understand why you've made us Deathworlders out as an almost unstoppable force in many of these videos. But some sections of these stories concern me. Specifically, how a lot of aliens in these stories think and see humanity reveling in war. I've not served, so some of this may come off as Naivety, but I stand with the honorable men and women who put on any uniform of the USA military to be our swords and shields. But I think a lot of them who have seen combat would agree on these things I'm about to say. #1: War is hell. #2: They fight so that one day, war and weapons are no longer needed. And finally, #3: If you want peace, you must prepare for war. I know the second one isn't exactly realistic, but still It's a good thought to dream and hope for. I know these videos are just supposed to be entertaining stories. But it makes me sad when I hear, "Human likes or revels in war." War should be the very, very last option between nations. In Ukraine's and Israel's cases, they were given no option... at all. Humanity has been fighting ever since that first killing, and our DNA has paid for it. Oh. Personally, the word "HOLY" is the one word that should've never ever been allowed to be put beside the word "WAR." I apologize if my tirate offended or saddened you, but it is just me venting.
I really like this whole Frairen story line and the universe this is set in, this shit is so cool. plus big bonus to see Miss Rimki here to didn't expect that, big ups to her.
But it makes me sad when I hear, "Human likes or revels in war."
War should be the very, very last option between nations. In Ukraine's and Israel's cases, they were given no option... at all. Humanity has been fighting ever since that first killing, and our DNA has paid for it.
Oh. Personally, the word "HOLY" is the one word that should've never ever been allowed to be put beside the word "WAR."
I apologize if my tirate offended or saddened you, but it is just me venting.
Yes I've seen the previous video.
Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work, everyone.
JOHN!!! Get me my warcrime stick!
They talk about wave attacks; what about drone warfare?
30:51 The Middle-Eastern version of "blood is thicker than water" refers to blood brothers.
damn im starting to slowly understand the political dynamics and lore. this is very well done, proper paced world building. terrific job❤
Love this series of stories. The continuity of the characters and such. Really well done.
i love your peoples work. keep it coming and i will keep enjoying it.
If that was a crewmate to Commander Shepard, Renegade dialogue would get blasted off grilling the elders, especially when they told her to bow.
This universe needs a tv show
I do love this series.
This first illustration of a yourpil are perfect. Go for that. 😊
Is it possible to put all the connecting storys in a playlist i think it will be better for people who may miss some info
Haha I've got alien gear holsters...... but I'm guessing the story meant the second amendment
Waited for this 😅😅
Great storytelling, building layers of interest and investing in the characters, well done, keep going.
Thank you for making a playlist for this series!
It would be Interesting to see what they would say about John rambo and his ptsd.
I'll say it again, this story has been one of the greatest, what is this like part 8? I love it give me more!
Okay I know I’m supposed to focus on the story but the foxo aliens are adorable I wanna pet em
I feel like theyll soon. Learn that humans dont like war. But they DO like warring against people who deserve it. Or in defense against others
NGL, this made me tear up. Very good at the vocal emotion.
The scene where frairen talks about the brotherhood in the human military has really got me missing the marine corps
Enjoying all of this universe. Listened to most of it several times.
I really like this whole Frairen story line and the universe this is set in, this shit is so cool. plus big bonus to see Miss Rimki here to didn't expect that, big ups to her. Also low-key, would like to see a lil bit more of the Mandarain culture and their attitudes of expansion. thats just a personal wish of mine, though keep continuing to make these cool stories. much love!
As a lover of black coffee and unsweetened tea I find overly sweet things disgusting.
Same. I even prefer the more savory desserts. Cookies, muffins.
Too much sugar is disgusting, and I have grown thin, trying to avoid it. 😢
I love this storyline so very much and really need to revisit it from the beginning!
This story is going nice
The sound effects are a nice touch
