    Hi mate, I really appreciate your tutorials on Tanzbär! You saved me a lot of time because the instruction is really bad. Thank you very much!

    Nice tutorial, quite helpful! I discovered that if you hold the select button and press the steps you want to modify, you don't need to erase them and get them back. I'm planning to make a video in spanish, I hope you don't mind that I use your video as a reference! Cheers!

    There's nothing wrong with your machine regarding tempo - the manual says that "the tempo change is performed at the very moment when the knob position matches the previous temp setting." Thanks for the instruction videos!

    I'll join the chorus thankful viewers. Without your videos I would have been lost with this machine for much longer. Yes, the manual is poorly written in some spots but the machine is amazing. So all is forgiven! I'm working on a handy quick reference sheet which I will be happy to share when finished. All the best!

    thanks for the turorial! I have one question, maybe someone can help me out. I tried to send Midi CC from Cubase 9 to Tanzbär, for e.g. the decay of the Bassdrum 2, its Midi CC 08. I set the Midi Channel for the drums to 3 and for the Midi Data to 10. But when I change the Midi CC 08, the decay doesnt change...Someone has an idea?

    Love your videos on the Tanzbär, they've been really useful, thanks!
    Please, next time turn the gain up a little bit (it's very low) and avoid those weird inhaling/breathing noises you make sometimes. Are you aware of those noises? Is it intentional or perhaps it's just a strange habit? Cheers!

    Hi! Thanks for the videos! Helped a lot used with manual together.
    Just two question maybe anyone knows something about....
    When play is not pressed and i turn decays, tunes of tom instruments,tanzbar starts to giving humming sound. Im curious yours has the same problem or not.
    I have tanzbar v.1.0 with full black buttons. Is this the only difference between newer versions? (Because as i see Tanzbars mostly has Red-Gray-White-Black buttons combo)

      It has happened that my TB started to hum. I did not know what it was, or why, but then it turned out that some knobs were turned to maximum (i think it was decay). If you turn off the TB and turn all knobs to neutral/off the problem should be gone if you power it on again. This issue has also been reported on a few internet forums i think.
      I don't know if there is any other difference between the model with all black buttons and my version, sorry.

      Thanks for the info, as i checked it doesnt make problem while you playing your pattern, so i can survive this bug. :)

      Just one more question :)
      At BD1 the Filter knob only effect the noise parameter when tweaked up. I don't feel difference tweaking filter, when noise is on zero.
      Is it works like this at you?

    very informative! however, the volume of the video is very low - is there any chance you could adjust it?

    • @10billionviewsorless42

      This is strange... i've recorded the audio through my studio mic and audio interface and i didn't notice any issues playing it back through my laptop speakers or even smartphone. Are you sure the volume of your computer, as well as your youtube player is turned up? Also, it's best to listen through headphones anyway, especially the second video, where there are a few sound effects that are too subtle for regular pc or laptop speakers. Did you have the same problem with the other video? I'll see if i can raise the volume with the youtube editor. Thanks for watching.

      10 billion views or less I've had trouble on every device I've played it on, I had to turn my tv up to 85 to hear it at a 'normal' volume. Perhaps it's a glitch with youtube. either way, I like the video, and I used it to practice on my tanzbar this morning.

      Ok thanks, interesting. If i play it back on my laptop at only 20%, it's still quite clear. Maybe other people can chime in if they have a similar problem. I'm not sure if i can edit the sound of the video after it's been uploaded or if i have to reupload the entire video (which i'd rather not do). I'll check it out and if others have the same problem, i'll try to correct it. Did you have the same problem with the other video's? Thanks for the feedback.

    • @videohallucinations
      @videohallucinations 8 лет назад

      10 billion views or less yes, unfortunately part 1 was just as low in volume. I'm happy to give feedback, and again I found the videos edifying - the manual is a little difficult for me to use well, so I'm glad you created a basic torturous tutorial

    Great that you've gone through all this effort, thanks! I'm struggling with choosing, however. I love Tanzbar/Maus sounds (particularly the kicks) the most, but I'm scared as hell of the machines, they look terribly uncomfortable to operate. Do you ever get used to it? Thanks :)

      This was my first hardware drumcomputer. Prior i had only dabbled with software drumcomputers. So, don't get too intimidated, it takes some practice, and most of all, it depends on what you want to do with it. I feel comfortable using the Tanzbär for my pursposes, but i'm ways off of mastering it in a way like HiCutCake has (you should watch his video's using the Tanzbär). I don't know where you live, but in many European countries you can just send online purchases back without issues within 2 weeks. Or maybe you should just try it out in a local store.

      Not the cheapest thing out there, but the honesty in the sounds really grabs me here - so crisp and alive. I would've gotten the way cheaper Tanzmaus, but it's just ridiculous when even the Play button there requires a Shift+command. It takes a stupid amount of time to memorize basic functionality, and without a display you have no idea which menu you're currently in... that's all the things I've heard. And still, I want it so badly just for the sounds.

      @10billionviewsorless42  7 лет назад +1

      There is no display on the TB either, but the LEDs give you an indication of what you're doing. It takes some getting used to. Maybe see if you can snag one second hand, and sell it if you don't like it?

      Yep. Pretty much what I'm going to do. Thank you for your videos, they really made it easier to choose.

    Sound is way too quiet on your videos, struggling to hear them.
