This was so much fun. Let me tell you I was invested on Jerome and Benita from the beginning. And I think one of the reasons why audiences love them so much is that they were unapologetically themselves on the show. And their banter was so entertaining.

I didn't smile much when I was in an abusive marriage. It took a very long time for me to begin to smile and laugh after I became single again. It took me a very long time to know myself and be aware of who I am versus who I was. I'm sure I would have been more approachable too, if I had smiled more. Keep doing the great job you're doing. Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Thank you for this fun interview! I am a fan of Korean content, both fictional and reality. Love After Divorce was so entertaining and enlightening. During this interview when Jerome said they had signed contracts before being told Netflix would carry their show, I was shocked. I read recently (unsure of the validity) that Korean actors whose shows appear on Netflix do not receive residuals. Perhaps no one does…I don’t know. I hope everyone on Love After Divorce has love and happiness in their lives.

I totally understand when the red cardigan gal said women are always told to “smile more” I think yes, of course Jerome means well when he says that to Sora, but to some woman that is offensive. The only time that she shouldn’t be offended is if she is asking for advice from them on why he thinks she’s not getting picked. But this being a dating show, she is soliciting in a public way, so I guess it’s okay. But in real life, no one should tell someone to “smile more” to appease someone else.
Exactly..I somehow find it very offensive with such remark. As if I don't smile enough. There must be something to smile of right. If not, I would be looking like a crazy smiling lady 😅

I don’t think it was meant as a slight, but Dewey’s English should not have been brought up. It sounded like a backhanded compliment when Dumbfounded praised him for being so confident with his level of English. Why shouldn’t he be confident? Dewey appeared more withdrawn and down after that was said. A lot of people with English as a second language are insecure because their English is not perfect.
That tattoo host looked down on him and kept insulting the level of Dewey's SECOND language. He screamed like FOB FOB FOB in his head. If it was not, he could've not said that many times about D's english like 60% shit.
"Love after Divorce" was actually very healing for anyone who has been in a relationship, and believe me the divorce "taboo" is real in many cultures, love all those who participated in this show and also who put it together. Thank you for being brave and giving the rest of the world some courage and positivity too 🥰
