INFP answer: ENTJ are absolutely sure that they spot you from outer space. But. They also miss something huge. They spot only things that there is on their own view. And they cannot see that because they are so sure that their truth is THE universal truth. Reality is they are absolutely blinds of stuff that don't fit with their aims. This behaviour can lead ENTJ to be blind of others motivations or feelings. And in the end , make suffer the ones you care about.
@@MH-ht7og as painful as it is to say, this is pretty true.. my advice for u is to convince us with constructive straight to the point logic.. put some concrete examples too because we might not look like it but we really think a lot when we think we know who u are.. we only seem arrogant because we are just so sure abt it so u need to convince us logically..
@@MH-ht7og I mean....everyone knows that what we believe is right but kinda try to manipulate it for one's own motives....I don't see myself blind but more of a need more answers to fully understand what is true so we can decide and act upon that And about feelings...c'mon we're humans it's just we don't know how to Express ours in a way that fits "us".....and fully understand others
@@peterashraf2717 A blind man cannot see himself by definition. You said " We don't know how to express our emotions in a way that fits "us" " I don't understand why you react at my comment by this fact. In my previous comment, I did not talked about expressions of ENTJ owns emotions. I was talking about ENTJ difficulties to be conscious of other's emotions. And therefore, the inability to take that in account in theirs decisions. Can you explain what you said "come on we're human" : What does that mean for you? An hypothesis of mine is you thought I said you had no emotions. If that is what you understood from my comments, I didn't mentioned that. And I don't think that too. I think you have emotions, same as all of humans. But it is a weakness of ENTJ to not be able to manage emotions effectively. As it is their weakness to misunderstand or be blind to other's motivations. It is a weakness though and not a limitation. So it can be overcome if the ENTJ is first conscious of his/her behavior. ( =Become unblind). And second make the goal of overcome this weakness one of their life priorities . This can lead them to have better relationship in work and at home. And that is important to reunite people toward a common goal.
Funny story about ENTJs and their relationship with emotions: I (an INFP) went with my ESFJ mother to the movies. Once there, she got really mad at me and didn’t talk to me even when the movie ended. When we got home, she apologized and I started crying because of how bad I felt of her not talking, so she started crying too. We were hugging each other in the middle of the kitchen while crying, when my ENTJ older brother came because he wanted some water. He just stared at us, walked by and grabbed the glass of water, then he stopped and asked “The movie was that bad?”. He laughed, gave us a little hug and kept going. 😂😂 ENTJs care deeply about their loved ones, but don’t be surprised if they appear cold. Their way of helping will be in a practical way and not the emotional support that maybe you are looking for. Just bear with them: :)
As an INTP.. I feel extremely awkward when someone is crying but yes all I can think of doing is hugging them or sometimes I even say "I wish there was something I could say"
People don't like being commanded? Let's be real, if I'm too stuck in my comfort zone I need someone who can give me a nudge out of there. ENTJs are great. -INTP
@@Adolphsson yep, and with their Ni parent they usually have a well thought out plan before they do something. also, having Ne critic, I hate making people do something unless it’s super thought out, because I don’t like people having bad things happening to them because of me. having said that, that’s exactly what INTP’s like, and is exactly why they love ENTJ’s so much, because if they’re gonna tell INTP’s to do something, 99% of the time the have a good reason for doing so.
Well, ill make sure to give a good reason to tell you to do something Having no reason means you don’t know what you are doing, and if you don’t know what you are doing Let someone who does, into command Mistakes can be avoided, pride is a weakness, let someone more capable in charge As an ENTJ If I notice I’m not fully prepared for something, I delegate to someone is better equipped I’d rather lose some pride, get some help, and complete my goal, instead of floundering around and looking like a complete moron As an ENTJ I like my INTP friends Usually very competent, and intelligent Reserved, but I know I will be told if something is wrong, and that any work delegated to them will get done Just leave them alone, let them finish what they started, and everything will work fine Just don’t distract them LOL
ENTJ's are my absolute favorite type. I find them so easy to get along with, their bluntness to be incredibly amusing, and their confidence to be super inspiring. My closest friend is an entj and he's taught me how to stand up for myself, and given me more honest advice than all of my friends combined. -INFP
lmao i’m the entj and my little sister is the infp. Your story is like ours. She said she likes my confidence and thankful for my advices when she needs it but at the same time she’s irritated by how confident I am when she compliments smtg abt me 🤣✋🏻
my daughter is INFP. She's the only one in my family that will give me, an ENTJ, an immediate ear, even if she initially disagrees with me. She at least gives me the time of day to hear the argument, remove the emotional baggage from its implication, and just either agree or disagree with her input. Straightforward, and I can tell my advice is taken with appreciation and good effect from time to time. Great relationship.
You give us ENTJ's so many complements and somehow I always take them really seriously unlike when others give me complements. Must be because I respect your impeccable analyzing skills. :)
When an INTP tells you a compliment, you know it's genuine. We never give compliments to anyone unless you pass our impossible standards that even we could never achieve. And for some reason, you ENTJs always pass the standards we apply to everyone. If ENTJs are Alexander the Greats, then INTPs are Wise Aristotles. INTP/ENTJ is one of the golden pairs of 16 personalities. Question: How do people like you, ENTJs, think and make decisions?
@@jankyyard5610 "What's the *best* way of doing this?" Is the question I asked to myself all the time. I'd try to find the most efficient way to do things/solve problems, while also getting the best result. Most of the times, I use logic and completely ignore feelings, because that's usually the best way. However, there are situations where you can't completely ignore feelings, because it has a potiential to affect the end goal and whatnot, so I had to incorporate feelings into my decision-making process.
"can achieve anything but dont know what they want in lfe" spot on. i think we want to experience everything. There is no one thing we are attached to and inspiration hits us from all angles. "i doooo want to run a triathlon" we achieve it then get bored of the prospect.
I have an entj brother and I admire him a lot. He works really hard to achieve his goals, having conference calls at 2:30 am and working as a freelance coach almost everyday. He's stubborn but in a good way. Nowadays, it's so easy to get swayed by others' opinions but he's like a pillar that will never crumble once he's put his mind into something. And he will do anything to achieve that. Sometimes I do wish he's more easy on himself though. But then again he does go partying and stuff LOL. Really a powerhouse imo. Definitely well respected as well.
This is so nice from you. You should let him know. I’m a ENTJ and I would love to know if someone thought this about me. I can relate with how you described him
You really nailed the ENTJ! My son is exactly how you described-he is charismatic but not necessarily charming! His RUclips channel just reached over 1 million subscribers and you explained why. His channel is CarsAndCameras, so saying his foot on the gas is hilariously correct!
Preciate you for making this video after I said most NTs shit on ENTJs in your last video. People always talk about INTJs being misunderstood, try being an ENTJ and get back to me.
At least ppl know that intj are misunderstood... for entj, ppl genuinely believe in the stereotype.. they dont even think for a second that we are just misunderstood
I like entjs the way they are and genuinely enjoy their company, love how they're ready to speak what they want to because it's really annoying when people try to act in the way they think you want them to act in, so entjs are just refreshing and I love and admire growth so i sorta admire them because i associate them, in a way, with growth -entp ;)
@@MaximumChanges It's fine. I understand your sentiment as an INTP since we also experience that kind of stuff. I think we can both agree that ENTJs and INTPs just want to cut the bullshit from our lives. Although, we INTPs are more concern "truth" than "method" so we can be inefficient and ineffective most of the time.
Very summarized, but one other bit is that if we hear you talk about a dream, we'll tell you of ways you can achieve it, there, on the spot. We're kings and queens of unsolicited advice 🙄
The problem is that most people don’t want to hear our solution and then to achieve whatever they want, they simply want to deal with some basic human that is telling them everything they want to hear. (To be average)
I'd say that it's not that they/we don't want the advice, it's that some of us need emotional support/validation before advice, and ENTJs jump straight to advice. Honestly I wish I could just take the advice but often it involves ..ahem... disregarding my Fi, which I can't.
@@meganm4877 Yeah... That's a tough and often painful lesson for us ENTJs to learn. To many types offering emotional support and making them FEEL better towards something often works better than trying to push logic onto them. Not everyone's brain works in the same way. And to be fair I'm glad it doesn't
@@meganm4877 I have become more aware about this you mention when talking with someone going through something. I usually don't know what to say but acknowledge the person's feelings but really can't say much, and if I do is just awkward. But let's say, when you have a dream, ENTJs want to see you succeed, we don't bullshit around and mean what we say. What is the best approach from an ENTJ if he/she believes in a dream you have, and wants to inspire you to take action?
That last phrase really resonated with me. "In order to move forward quicker, sometimes you need to stop" I'll definitely try to incorporate more balance in my life😅
I have always told myself. "It's better to rest to work harder the next day than to work yourself for two days straight and complete mediocre work." Or "Sometimes it's best to rest your head to clear it."
This hit me too. Like as much I would like to balance my work and personal life, my brain is wired to do my job even when I'm off the clock and on my days off. It can be challenging to just completely rest my mind.
It is interesting that a stronger logic and good organizational skills, competence, is viewed as unpleasant by others. Entjs are not always commanding but their way of being makes others jealous. Can there be a mixture of different personalities? As an entj girl I am not cold, I like to help others, I love animals and plants, I have a nice home, I am friendly to all around me, all of this showing feelings. Entjs appreciate friendship and are shattered when people stab you in the back, all because of their jealousy. Thank you for the video. Yes, we don't always know what we want from life. There is so much to learn and understand that that could be detrimental at some point, making you lose the track to reality. So I think entjs are very complex characters.
You are who you are, don't listen to people who tell you what your personality type acts like, because they will use stereotypes. I am an ENTJ too and most people tell me I am a very helpfull person (I like to get things done efficiently and the same goes for helping friends and family).
I’ve noticed entj’s seem assume when others don’t like them that they’re jealous. From observation I think it’s more likely people find them self interested and conceited.
Perhaps ENTJs are lucky in that we measure ourselves only against what the best version of ourselves is, rather than comparing ourselves to others. ENTJs seem to learn this early in life, and we seem to have steel egos. We don't waste time and energy making comparisons. The ENTJs I've known are naturally helpful people, and they do not want to harm anyone or anything else.
@@littlebird3495 and even this is covert jealousy.. because everyone who for example makes decisions confidently is “self-interested and conceited” in the other person’s perspective - often because they don’t have the same ability. You observe this in the questions ENTJs are often asked. “But how did you know ____?” “How did you do that so fast?” It’s the word *how* as if it shouldn’t be possible. And to them it’s not; so they talk like you have some superpower or inside scoop they weren’t privy to that they *wish they had. This is verbalized constantly to the ENTJ. And as long as it (whatever the skill of the moment is) continues to benefit them they’ll stay you’re friend; until it no longer benefits them.. the jealousy shows it’s face in the end.
I think it's just us naturally overqualified for the task of simultaneously being the best and most hated type. Always killing two birds with one stone, efficiently.
Well, no not really in my experience. I wasn't sure what type I was and pondered and chamhed my mind and changed my mild again for 6 months and finally I came to the conclusion that I'm an Intj and at first I felt like:"yayyy mental peace and I get to be one of the coolest and most useful types wohoo". But after a few days I got kinda discouraged and tired and embarrased and I realised how shit it is to lack Se. It is not great at all to be a Ni dom. Now I would imagine everyone thinks that way of their type and If after some time you dont get that:"bruh Im so shit at this plz can I just not" then it seems like you've probably misstyped. And this at least has been consistent for me and apparently accordikg to youtube consistent for others as well. Or then Entj's are just great and out of touch with their emotions and won't feel how they are kinda annoyed to be an Entj .
Well said. What do you want from life when you don t create a good life, and you hang on where you don t belong. Such as a bad position at work, such as a wrong partener, accepting others´s craps and many staff . They live for what? For passing the days, for staying with whom they don t love, for making bad decisions. What is that chaos for in thier own brain?
Well, I’m a ENTJ-T. And mostly, I want to experience everything in life. I do not just mean in a positive way, also negative aspects. I tried some drugs just for the sake of it, and you know what I can understand about addiction more.

Very true. I know several ENTJs in my life and i can see that very clearly when comparing them. One (the closest to me) is openly warm and expresses his feelings better than i do (INFJ) and the others simply don't do it easily and hide them.
I don't like the word cold.ENTJs are efficient at handling their emotions and not emotionally fragile like most other personality types.I couldn't fathom trying to function and navigate in this world based on emotions first/only,surely the most logical thing to do is analyze your situation and then act accordingly in a rational manner..

So interesting to see the natural companionship between ENTJ and INTP. My ex best friend is an INTP....we don't talk anymore for some serious reasons, but we meshed so well together, like a good balance. My bf is ENFJ, like my mother 😂 we can be a powerhouse or ABSOLUTELY butt heads.
I watched a pair of ENTJs with ADHD grow up. They really needed to learn to slow down and wonder if something should happen before making it happen. It seemed like as soon as an idea occurred to them it would happen in real life. As an INFP, this was really impressive, but to this day I have no idea how so much stuff ended up on the ceiling . . .
I’m an ENTJ with ADHD. I’m successful in tech sales, and adderall saved me, because I would bounce around from one idea to another and try to accomplish everything. Was rough at first lol
I'm so frustrated. I sent the video to my best friend, ENTJ, and he was proud saying there was no bad things about him.. I said that ignore his feelings and values is not a good thing, but he thinks it's something good! I can't understand... INFP here.
that sounds like my boyfriend. one of the biggest flaws of the ENTJ is that they value feeling so little, and they get sooo upset at themselves for having feelings. this is then how they treat people they care about: "feelings are a problem. oh, you're having feelings? stop having feelings! easy peasy!" it can be super frustrating for people, like me, who really just need to express the feelings. like, i know how to solve my own problems, i just need to feel heard/seen. ~INFJ

It's having Fe (and Si) so low. They're just not aware of other's feelings, social or ethical expectations. They need to be (logically) informed about such things in advance/at the time or be forgiven for their ignorance, it's incredibly difficult for them to be aware of it themselves, let alone remember the mistakes to avoid in the future.
@@notjohn2672 Everytime people say this I reply with: "I'm not a gimmicky used car salesman trying to manipulate people into seeing my POV for selfish gain. Otherwise, I'd play on those emotions!" You think I'd get a gold star for speaking with integrity but they just stare back at me like I'm crazy. I'm just stating facts for clarity of communication. Adjusting every single thing I say AKA sugarcoating to help it be more palatable is a waste of time. I'm not getting paid to offset people's fragile egos. I don't say things just to say them. Not into small talk. If someone asks a question, for advice or my opinion and I give it straight, I never understand the backlash to brutal honesty. It's where all the gold is!
ENTJs are an outwardly 'friendlier' and busier INTJs. Our brains are weirdly in-sync with each other of wanting to find the best route to the task at hand. Except, ENTJs seem to want to solve everything 'I gotta do all of these tasks to finish work and these are the things that we all have to do to get there', INTJs have one main personal goal and the many things to do to get there 'this is the grand scheme of what I want to do and all of the things I gotta do to get there'. It's a nice breather when meeting someone with similar goals and also the recluse from being too close to another person. ENTJs can handle the small talk and work ethic, but they don't seem to know it but you can't quite get too close to them that quickly emotionally as ENFJs.
1:00 OOF That hits hard cause it's where I am currently in life. I'm completely aware that whatever I do I'll succeed, and now it's just a question of, "What do I want to do." Because picking the wrong thing could be an expensive and time consuming mistake. But then my next thought it, regardless what happens the worst thing I can do, is nothing. Because the only way I can fail is if I do nothing. But I'm too paralyzed by the indecision with what I want to do/ lack of any clue what I want to do.Which of course circles back to me not wanting to make a mistake and waste my time and money on something useless to me.
Sort your iNtuitive element and you’ll be good . Align this Ne with objective truths , much like what Jordan Peterson says , “look for your highest ideal” , aim to achieve it and seek a path that leads you there with logic and thinking
@Shinchan Nohara Well, how I dealt with it was moving out and getting a job. Just live cheap for a while (more or less), have some form of income, and figure out yourself, once you figure out yourself I'm hoping what I want to do will become more clear and I can leave whatever I'm doing for it.
ENTJ here. Pretty much spot on. My mother told me at 5 I could do anything I wanted to do and that's how I've lived my life, never considering I'd fail. I assumed people want truthful answers but I learned that isn't true. I always had a clear plan of what I wanted out of life. But I've never understood how other people think and they didn't understand me. Through Christianity I've learned to be honest about myself and my failings--that's probably what kept me from self-destruction and work-a-holicism. My wife is ISTJ and she's a great practical balance for me. I tend toward long-term theoretical plans; she does short-term, practical plans.
I’m an ENTJ, and I’m recently homeless. I did everything I could, but some organ failure, and another close encounter with another organ failing, a near-deadly 1-in-a-million reaction to a medication, mixed with the entire family I know is on drugs… I ended up losing my apartment. But, holding it together. I live in a hotel until I have a place I want to be permanently. It’s not awful, they do your dishes and clean the place, you can have two pets, but not your own furniture, which I sold my old stuff while in the hospital. Being an ENTJ isn’t all glamour, fame, and respect. Sometimes it’s just coping with life excellently. And saying “no, I don’t need the homeless shelter, I can’t do my old apartment’s rent at double organ failure energy levels, but all I need to do is just do work and get money, and pay for my stuff I want, I want more than the homeless shelter, and I am capable of achieving that, so I will, today and now. Build a brick at a time, not a house at a time.”
Sucks how ENTJs are often casted as the villains in media when there is very much opportunity for ENTJs to be heroic and helpful. We often want the best for ourselves and the best for others
This is the best description of my personality type that I’ve heard. Us ENTJ females have even a bigger issue with people liking us than our male counterparts. I just assume people won’t like me and enjoy it if they do.
I actually spent a few years mistyped as an INFJ. Eventually, my research into cognitive functions and the Enneagram brought me to the revelation that I had been an ENTJ the entire time.
Okay please please please answer me Listen i was an ENTJ till the age 12 okay Got a burn out because of school(shocker) and literally lost myself switched between ENFP and ENFJ then i was typed INFJ But i still feel so ENTJ Everyone from my relatives to my family thinks that too In school I’m even called the mother or because i yell at them if they did something wrong But I’m still really kind and really really loved And lately I’ve been thinking maybe I’m still an ENTJ The only difference is now I’m a healthy one ( in one way or another) So if you can just tell me because I’m literally so tired from trying to understand myself I understand everyone but not myself It’s really bothersome
@@folkloriaon I want to make one thing clear from the start. Do not let your personality type limit you! You'll be at your strongest if you work to build the best version of yourself. Nobody is a 100% match for any type, in fact, the closer you are to 50 50, the better you are. I'll tell you the truth about ENTJ type, and you decide for yourself, if you're truly one ENTJ is one of the most stereotyped types out there, and many things about them are greatly exaggerated. Lemme explain a real ENTJ. Te dominant, means that they prefer using extraverted thinking 98% of the time wherever they are. Extraverted thinking is all about making systems and plans in order to achieve goals set by their second function (Ni or introverted intuition). Te enjoys making systems for achieving goals and then working through these systems, this makes them by nature, very competitive, pushy and obsessed with becoming better in every aspect of their life. Since Te likes getting things done and organizing, it likes being in charge or in control so it can organize well. Leadership is a choice. People naturally look for other people who they deem more worthy than themselves to guide them through life. Since ENTJs are obsessed with constantly improving and becoming better, they are experts in many areas which is what makes them natural leaders. They're not emotionless people, like how many stereotypes suggest, they can give you quite the emotional comfort when you need it, while also telling you the solution to your problem, which only makes you wanna trust them more. These people are ones who usually have high integrity among other qualities and are highly trusted individuals, who won't betray your trust, and unlike stereotypes which say they give intimidating aura, it's the opposite, they give the comforting aura, you feel at ease when you're around a real ENTJ, although I must admit, maybe to someone who doesn't know them well enough they could appear, intimidating, but the moment you get to know them better, they give you that sense of comfort and you feel at ease knowing they'll take care any situation. I'll break down another stereotype, that they are self centered people who only look for ways to achieve their own goals. This is very untrue, I've seen an ENTJ sacrificing himself for the sake of his followers, they're not afraid to take the first step, they're approachable, open minded people, open to other people's opinions perspectives and criticism, especially constructive criticism backed up by logical reasons, they're not afraid to speak up, they care about people who follow them and people who trust them as their leader, they won't leave you behind, instead they'll help you get ahead. The last stereotype I'll break is that they're commanding. ENTJs are people with vision, they know exactly where they are going and they easily communicate this vision with others. The reason why they're not commanding is simply because they're approachable, if you think the work they planned out to do is too much, you can approach them with your problem, and they'll either find someone to help you, or help you become more efficient or even help you themselves. They often lead by example. They're fair and very often unbiased. A real ENTJ would not fire you for not being efficient enough, they'll solve your problem and help you become more efficient. Being around ENTJ made me more organized and efficient at the same time, it's weird, being around this type kinda makes you more like them in a way, since they're very inspiring and good at giving you the reasons why you want to follow them. I hope I helped you realize how a real ENTJ looks like, my friend is a real ENTJ and this is basically written based on the description of his character. Don't be fooled by fake ENTJs online claiming to be an ENTJ, a real ENTJ doesn't take pride in being ENTJ or brag about it online or brag about it at all, they show you with their actions in the real world and prove that they really are one 90% of the people online claiming to be ENTJ are not ENTJ in real life, they act only online like they're one, but in real life, when push comes to shove, they won't act like ENTJ, they've merely only convinced themselve that they are one Sorry on a long comment but I wanted to break down many misconceptions around this type to help you figure out if you're a true ENTJ or not, don't be discouraged if you're not, you can work on developing the qualities I mentioned and becoming the best version of YOURSELF!
My father. At 23, I'm still not used to how harsh and straightforward he is. My younger brother gets very upset with how direct and emotionless our dad communicates and how extremely uncomfortable he is with anything regarding emotions. And yeah, he's overindulgent, oftentimes forgetting his family's wellbeing so he can go out and experience things. And he can never sit still, so he definitely has his foot on go 24/7, even if it affects his own wellbeing.
I'm an ENTJ who would like to think she is an ENFJ or an ENTP. But every time I took the Myer-Briggs test, I always scored ENTJ-A. I am terrible at managing my verbal harshness. I tend to deliver my requests in a sharp and authoritative tone that can come off as intimidating or (as you already said it) very off-putting. I occasionally recognize the discomfort in people's faces; they appear overwhelmed when I talk, and while it doesn't always concern me, when I see it often it makes me wonder. My boyfriend is an INFJ and many times he had to tell me to slow down. I get wound-up and energized so easily when I am around people but get uncomfortable and restless when I'm alone for too long. It's like I have to CONSTANTLY stimulate my brain and it can be tough when I don't have anyone else to bounce ideas back and forth. Makes me sad sometimes. Just ENTJ stuff.
Love the accuracy AND efficiency (2 min vs 3 for others... meta appeal to an ENTJ). I so wish I had this insight into myself years ago. 100% spot on. -ENTJ ps. Love the INTP comments-- I have had similar experiences!!!! Thanks, INTPs, you rock! (As do all types. :)
Took a self-imposed sabbatical and through therapy and stillness I’m finding I’m probably an ENTJ, but the shame and abuse from being a woman and an ENTJ made me suppress myself. I wish we had an ENTJ in our project's team... then I wouldn't have to be annoyed by that one person with a big mouth, a ton of "feelings", but no brains and... by that chaos that is the result of their seemingly (to others) impressive talking 🙄 I want to get something done! Will just focus on my own research now...
Heh. Use the Socratic method. Ask, "How do we get from point A to point B"? I see no logical path." Put the onus on them to explain their logic. Break the plan down piece by piece. Everything must fit together and work. Advice from an ENTJ.
@@AndyZach I did and even more than just once, the result (resistance to any logical approach) was frightening 😂 Instead the person in question now feels threatened in their position. Mind you, they aren't the team leader, just some big mouth - no brain figure, but illogical talk seems to be attractive to some.
I force myself to stop from time to time but god, that feeling of nothingness. Of no productivity, if it's not a scheduled vacation it almost feels like hell. Doesn't even have to be the most productive thing just have to be getting something done.
Nathan i know im repeating myself but I really do learn verry well from your videos. While when I try to read and learn about all the functions and types its mostly limited to the clichés of the types and I feel like noone is really a cliché. So when I see you have a new video it answers so many questions I have because you take into account not just the what but the why to every one. Does that make sence? Anyway thanks again 🎀
I am an ENTJ. Spent my whole life being the one drafted to be in charge if everything. And when I wasn't in charge, those that were in charge were very irritated at me because I kept suggesting better ways to do things. Now that I am retired people keep volunteering me to do projects. Sigh,
I’m an estj and my brother is a entj and he and I have a very good healthy relationships and a very good one too! He can be really funny and he’s also very sweet and positive! And everything that’s being mentioned in the video is literally him and right now he’s studying law at university
Best youtube video i've seen on my type. Also, a refresher on my strengths. From the time I learned my type, my personal growth focused on managing the downsides of my type, the worst habit of which was how, honest to God, mistakes on a page just jump off the page at me. I became a much better manager and team player when i overcame that to look and show appreciation for the good first. The sad part to my type to me, is I am such a serious-minded person, my jokes and witty sarcasm surprises people. People respond to my delivery with an expression like, that was funny, you said that? Oh well! 😊 I'm a strong J and rely on Jungs theory that we gravitate to the opposite later in life. Id love to have some P-ness!
Thanks for the analysis! Seems to be spot on as usual. ENTJs do not sound like the kind of folks I would want to deal with, if it could be avoided (ENTJs as a group, that is. With each individual, it's a different story.). Even if there are good intentions behind all that, people who boss others around unsolicitedly and bulldoze over emotions and values - be it their own or those of others - that are there for a reason just make me close the door. I love ENTPs though. They are really inspirational, usually don't take themselves too seriously, and while they like to push buttons and might also be plain mean at times, they are also actually interested in people and don't have trouble showing their caring side. - INFJ
Bro at the end of the day they're still human just like you, no need to hold them higher than yourself, I do not know my type but damn I wanna see them in action, and challenge them, and test their limits
We’re not that bad 😂 Really, the only time I get bossy or preachy is when I see someone fucking up who I’d like to see do better. Otherwise I’m just as chill as anyone else. :)
Hi Nathan. I really like MBTI and find it immensely useful, but I'm struggling on my type. I first typed as an INTP, but I haven't consistently typed this way. I humoured ISTP given my professional background and proclivity for individual sports, but I don't think I'm naturally coordinated enough to be a secondary Se, so I ruled this out. I narrowed it down to being an INTP with highly developed shadow functions (due to developmental stresses), or an ENTJ with a well developed INTP shadow. But which one is my primary set of ego functions is difficult to determine, especially if my hypothesis is correct and I have balanced both sets out roughly equally (which may be unlikely, but according to Jung was not just hypothetically possible but even psychically ideal, right?). On the one hand I am extremely cerebral, I procrastinate heavily, I think abstractly and divergently, and I appear to filter things through an internal filter by which I 'Truth-test' claims, observations, and phenomena, as if checking them against a broader rubric, or an internally coherent, conceptual understanding of reality (which all seem INTP). On the other hand, I can be short, decisive, cutting, efficient, externally engaged, coordinated, and ruthlessly pragmatic (and even cold), and take a keen interest in social tendencies and the implications thereof (which all seem very ENTJ). How might I resolve this dilemma? Do you do coaching sessions, for example, and if you do, might I purchase a 1:1 session to get to the bottom of this (with the view to better 'knowing myself' for once and for all). Many thanks, and compliments on the quality content (as usual)! :)
Hey man! ENTJ here with some knowledge of INTPness, since 2of my best friends are INTPs. I would say one key difference between the two types is what you value more when problem solving? Efficiency and getting an objective with some concrete implications? (ENTJ) Or do you love deep thought provoking problems just by the sake of it? (INTP) Would you go against a very hard problem to achieve something? or to enjoy the challenge? The answer will probably not be black and white, but if you pay close attention to yourself this might be the key to knowing the difference. ENTJs have Extraverted Thinking as their dominant function, which contains the value of efficiency and is VERY goal oriented. INTP however, have Introverted Thinking, which values and enjoys knowledge for its own sake. Since personality is more complicated than it can be explained in a youtube comment, I would recommend you visit the "Objective Personality" youtube channel. They have extensive content about personalities and how to type and know yourself.
Would have included "need to be informed about the social/ethical issues with their actions/plans, preferably in a logical way, as they are barely capable of tracking it themselves therefore forgiveness is crucial when noone told them of such consequences". Pretty good otherwise.
I'm ENFJ but with a lot of signs of ENTJ. My husband is INTJ and our daughter are always saying that we are both very stubborn. If she ask us a question about something, we start to explain to her, analized, discuss with each other and even arguing and them search Google to find an accurate answer. She's more ENFP/INFP type so in the end she's not even in the room with us anymore😂😄
As a ENTJ female, lol thank you so much for getting to the point! All of this is beyond scarily accurate, especially the overindulgence bit. I am Saturn/Capricorn dominant in my Astrological chart, so I’m sorry lol what emotions???!! To me this is basically insane Capricorn energy! Thanks for the video! 😊
1:44 "They're naturally commanding, and people don't always like being commanded." I've always wondered why they're considered the best match for INTP's for this very reason. I'm one, and I naturally rebel against anyone that dares to command me. I rebelled against my parents for this, albeit quietly and simply by sneaking off unnoticed to do as I pleased (also by leaving home at 17 to obtain early ultimate freedom). I also left my new job a few days ago because my sups dared attempt to command/manipulate me with intimidation tactics. I typically have a laidback nature but confronted with such crass behavior my rebelliousness skyrockets, and it's too innate to be helped. I suppose if the ENTJ is more charismatic with their "commanding nature" I may be more receptive, but so far the attempts of INTJ's/ESTJ's/ENTP's have yet to compel me to do their bidding.
I have an xINTP friend and you sound just like her. She’s just like that, she doesn’t want me, “commanding” things etc. I always try to explain my reasons for being like that, but she doesn’t care. And I don’t care that she doesn’t care. And she doesn’t care that I don’t care that she doesn’t care, and so on. lol We’re quits at the end of the day.
INTPs and ENTJs complement because they both want to cut bullshit from their lives, but in a different manner. Although we INTPs are more concerned about the "truth" rather than "method" that ENTJ thrives upon. Try to use your openness and ego of "prove that your right" by giving evidences and proof of your decisions and results being better than their methods. But complement it with your Fe inferior function by posing it as a "suggestion". Trust me, it works in my ESTJ father (although it's hard to communicate with him since he's not the intuitive type like ENTJs or INFPs). In short, use your Ne function more = embracing ambiguity, possibilities, branching of ideas, abstract connections, etc. Or you're probably an INFP rather than INTP. Since INFPs are relatively more decisive at quitting their jobs than INTPs whose fine suffering at their bosses' demands.
As an entj, commanding is the result of a logical process. If I told you to work faster, I would probably have considered multiple things which lead to that decision. You would probably really be at fault, because if it wasn't your fault the deadline was not reached, I would talk to the person who set up that stupid ass unrealistic deadline.
thank you so much for this video! I’m definitely enlightened, I’ve been thinking that my mom is an entj and now It makes me think that she’s an entj more, i’ll try to look for a way to make her take the test (.....when it looks like she has the time for it)
Why hope and wonder when you can make it happen and have it?!?!? You can see them on his other channel under the name, “Nathan Glass.” -An ENTJ that always seeks to be efficient and effective in helpfulness 🙂
woaahh I've been hearing so mamy compliments from people here in RUclips about ENTJ. im an ENTJ-T and i thought everybody hated me but bruhh lil do i know people like ENTJ's too! and yes! we hate being commanded and we are very very organized and we're strategic leaders. but our weakness is being arrogant and i wish to change that sooner
I never thought of myself as charismatic but for a long time I didn't have a mission. Now that I have a mission and have brought almost everything in my life into alignment with that mission, I feel an overwhelming enthusiasm that I naturally want to share with others and lead them to success. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the beginning of charisma.
I have a couple friends (but not really) that i would say are ENTJs. I have a very hard time getting close to them, no matter how much they might interest me (as an INFJ) It feels that the way i communicate is not appreciated by them - an all people including, less objective kind of speech Nevertheless they're both very impressive people who i respect. Wish they could slow down so i could pick their brain
Hello, good afternoon. I have a friend ENTJ, he is a busy person, but I love when he approaches me when he needs to talk about his emotions or when he want to know about my experience in something only to evolve that system. I LOVE THAT and I would love to have the honor to meet more ENTJ. I admire you. -An ISFJ ❤

That’s what I’ve heard about the female ENTJ type. To top it off I’m scorpio, so clearly I’m very intense however I’m very easy-going and sweet for the most part.
I think I realized I'm an ENTJ when I became aware that my tendency to worry about people liking me isn't about who I am as a person, but knowing that logically, those people will now be unwilling to help me when I need it because they just don't like my personality. Whereas a feeler would probably try to see what they can change because they don't want to make others uncomfortable. constructive criticism is welcome on this take haha
Well, I'm not giving criticism I am giving my take on this topic, as a feeler (INFJ). It actually depends based on who is the person in question that doesn't like me - If it's a friend, yeah I would be kinda upset if they didn't like me, but that's the catch, I wouldn't be friends with them in the first place if they don't like me - If it's some stranger, well, you can never please everyone, as Socrates once said "Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people", so I just let the weak minded people be themselves and gossip about me, if you have a strong reputation, no stranger can ruin it no matter how much they gossip - If it's an enemy not liking me, they already hate me so aren't they just being themselves, I couldn't care less about what they have to say, they're merely means to the ends for me anyway? I don't really care for other people's opinions or approval (sure I like to hear them, but they usually unless backed up by strong logic don't make an impact or change my mind), I do care for my own reputation, but I'm not afraid to hold unpopular opinions or to speak my mind. I sometimes do something just for the reputation. For example, in a bus, I'd give up a sit to an elder when asked, but not really cuz I care about that person, but out of my own reputation. I accepted that it's just how people are, people are fake, I can often see right through them, there will always be people who like you, and who don't like you, some will pretend to like you, some will fake a smile, it's just human nature. I'm indifferent to it, they can think whatever they want of me
Guilty as charged: sometimes our need for action impedes our ability to think 'exactly why are we doing this?' Many times we'll just bulldoze through without recognition on the "why." I'll admit that if I had more of that INFJ quality of analyzing and then taking action, I'd have been a better leader.
Yeah it's true but I think I've been in my head for the last...like month or more and It really piss me off but I kinda like it as I can do everything in it😂 but in the same time nothing in the real world It's really hard
Now that's interesting! May I ask if you've become a bit isolated lately due to this whole pandemic situation? I mean if you're an ENTJ it sounds like you might have reached you're INTP shadow, in which case congratulations! 😊🎉
@@Adolphsson I've never been more isolated😂 At first I thought It'll save a lot of time and it's a great thing but it made me lazier than normal for a whole And is it possible to change into an INYP? I thought maybe it's just a lil development in the Ni( I mean I read that ENTJs and INTJs like they can switch treats sometimes )
@@peterashraf2717 Duude! I'm an INTP and I've been trying to reach my ENTJ shadow for months! I might be totally wrong and it's just some Ni development as you say, but let's face it - even tho INTJs might procrastinate a bit more than ENTJs, we INTPs are masters at it. 😅 You should be able to go between ENTJ and INTP if the whole "four sides of the mind" theory is correct. You enter the INTP side by focusing inward on theoretical Ti stuff and back into ENTJ by focusing on Te like management. (I think) But I have no idea how legit these theories are, so I'm searching around for potential proof and tadaa! Here I am! lol! Do you feel organized right now or would you say life has become a bit.. messy? 😉 I would love to hear the result of a personality test if you fancy doing one in this state. Think of the possibilities if you could control this! Isolate and go into INTP mode to play around in your head and figure out some creative new ideas and then back out into ENTJ mode and get all that creativity realized.
@@Adolphsson INTPs are awesome and if this theory is true then I can get things done more efficiently....but I guess it might Waste a lot of time and in the end, it's just a theory. It's like I plan before I sleep...I wake up and start doing shit and then I kinda skip a task and then I do the other and next day I feel bad so I plan it but with no breaks at all to finish what i was supposed to do before....then I feel it's a lot so I just distract myself by this Ni "thing" but totally in purpose but it's like I'm addicted to it😂 I can stop myself and everything but I like it Actually it's hard for me to imagine for a long time....it's like I need a tangible thing or an image but I try to just get the main Idea and carry on😂
@@peterashraf2717 Noooo! "It's just a theory" said literally no INTP ever. I'm not so sure of this anymore! 😄 So far I've found one person that has claimed he's changed from INTP to ENTJ so one can still hope. I like my type and all, but I just wish I wouldn't get stuck in analysis paralysis all the time. That's why we like to have you ENTJs around to give us a kick in the rear now and then. It's much appreciated! 😁 Aw man, don't be so hard on yourself. As long as you get at least some things done you're one step closer to your goal. Sorry if I sound obvious, but if you're trying to avoid something maybe it's just a too big and daunting task that needs to be cut into smaller sub tasks? I've done that blunder a few times. Some stuff just takes time, you're no machine. Awkward inferior Fe bro-hug 🤗
i used to be infp dealing with some shit and had a entj friend who was also into some shit... but you know what? i could complain and say that it was all to much and say that i was just so tired i didn’t know what to do and show how hopeless i was but them he was always like “yeah... that really sucks a lot! but we’ll get through this.” and i was like !!!!????THANK YOU?!!?!??! FOR NOT PITTING ME BUT BEING HONEST NOT IN A RUDE WAY AT ALL?!?!??! now i’m over that shit and discovered that actually i was always enfp lol
I took the test 4x and i always got entj however i dont like being the leader but when i get to be one i do spend my energy on it or when i see incompetent leader i just want to take over do that count
If you have no fear of public speaking + communicating ur ideas to strangers you're ENTJ that doesn't care about leadership, (Of course given that NTJ are confirmed)
I have to know... You guys who describe other people in your life as being certain personality types... Do you know for certain (as in, have they taken the test/been ascribed) or are you extrapolating/making a calculated guess?
The more you get to know the functions, the better you get at typing people. I’m an ENTJ and my husband is an ESTP. Our oldest is now 13 and showed very clear Fi/Ne from a very young age. He is definitely an INFP. Our youngest son currently has very clear Se and Te. He will either become an ENTJ like me or might be an ESFP. He is too young to know for sure yet, though. It also becomes easier to type people. When someone says “but I’m good at or I love to do xyz” and give you the one example they have in their lives, that is them trying to flaunt one of their lower functions lol. This is how I knew my mom was an ISFJ even though she wants desperately to be an N dom. “I’m always thinking of the future. This is why I (insert single example here).” Or “My intuition is usually right. (Insert example of how she tried to “intuit” by using Fe to figure out how another person will behave or react)” All while she plans for the same vacation for the 30th time in her life and can’t fathom getting a different kind or even make of car or move from the town they’ve lived their entire married lives even though all their adult children moved out of state. Always trying to convince us to visit to do the same activities we grew up doing with our own kids.
If you are close enough with someone and have always wondered of your differences and fallouts I think it must be easy to type someone once you’ve learnt about the cognitive functions. But there can always be exceptions, and at least I don’t impose things I am unsure of in a statement I make. So whenever I type people I make sure I discuss with them so that I make solid conclusions. ~INFP.
FINALLY AN ENTJ VIDEO. I DECLARE THIS A SUCCESS.
qotd lol
Nice pfp! I'm partial to the Kingsman movies myself.
I approve your declaration! 😊💖
I KNOW RIGHT
AGREEDDDD 100%💯🔥
How to spot an ENTJ: watches the video at 2x speed to be more efficient
Plenty do that, myself included. :P
Right right😂😂👌
I usually did that. Or watching in comments, if the video is longer, for someone, who explained the whole video in one short comment.
😂
Same as an ISTP but only because I get impatient.
You can spot an ENTJ from outer space 🪐 You don’t spot them. They spot you.
HAHAHHAHAHA
INFP answer:
ENTJ are absolutely sure that they spot you from outer space.
@@MH-ht7og I mean....everyone knows that what we believe is right but kinda try to manipulate it for one's own motives....I don't see myself blind but more of a need more answers to fully understand what is true so we can decide and act upon that
And about feelings...c'mon we're humans it's just we don't know how to Express ours in a way that fits "us".....and fully understand others
Funny story about ENTJs and their relationship with emotions:
I (an INFP) went with my ESFJ mother to the movies. 😂😂
ENTJs care deeply about their loved ones, but don’t be surprised if they appear cold. Their way of helping will be in a practical way and not the emotional support that maybe you are looking for. Just bear with them: :)
Your gonna make me cry
(I'm an ENTJ)
that was so cute >
That could have been me! My daughter is an ESFJ and I have trouble understanding other's feelings.
As an INTP.. I feel extremely awkward when someone is crying but yes all I can think of doing is hugging them or sometimes I even say "I wish there was something I could say"
That is actually very sweet.
People don't like being commanded? Let's be real, if I'm too stuck in my comfort zone I need someone who can give me a nudge out of there. ENTJs are great. -INTP
that’s hilarious because my best friend INTP said that same exact thing 😂. he said he’d rather get told what to do because it’s easier lol.
@@Paradigm_T33 Yeah, as long as I get told a valid reason why I should do it. A "because I say so" will obviously result in instant mutiny!
I concur. -INTP
Well, ill make sure to give a good reason to tell you to do something
Having no reason means you don’t know what you are doing, and if you don’t know what you are doing
Let someone who does, into command
Mistakes can be avoided, pride is a weakness, let someone more capable in charge
As an ENTJ
If I notice I’m not fully prepared for something, I delegate to someone is better equipped
I’d rather lose some pride, get some help, and complete my goal, instead of floundering around and looking like a complete moron
As an ENTJ
I like my INTP friends
Usually very competent, and intelligent
Reserved, but I know I will be told if something is wrong, and that any work delegated to them will get done
Just leave them alone, let them finish what they started, and everything will work fine
Just don’t distract them
LOL
ENTJ's are my absolute favorite type. I find them so easy to get along with, their bluntness to be incredibly amusing, and their confidence to be super inspiring. My closest friend is an entj and he's taught me how to stand up for myself, and given me more honest advice than all of my friends combined.
-INFP
lmao i’m the entj and my little sister is the infp. Your story is like ours. She said she likes my confidence and thankful for my advices when she needs it but at the same time she’s irritated by how confident I am when she compliments smtg abt me 🤣✋🏻
Naw, that was nice to hear ❤
I wish all infps were like you 😭
my daughter is INFP.
I’m INFP and my boyfriend is ENTJ, I agree with everything you said, I think those two types really compliment each other
You give us ENTJ's so many complements and somehow I always take them really seriously unlike when others give me complements.

I'd say that it's not that they/we don't want the advice, it's that some of us need emotional support/validation before advice, and ENTJs jump straight to advice. Honestly I wish I could just take the advice but often it involves ..ahem... disregarding my Fi, which I can't.
omg I want some unsolicited advice rn ngl
"In order to move forward quicker, sometimes you need to stop"
I'll definitely try to incorporate more balance in my life😅
We need balance and we know that we need it but it is hard to accept that as an ENTJ :).
Same, I’ll try that next year 🤣🫡
欲速则不达
Definitely someone you don't want to mess with. Approach carefully.
The saying, "Don't mess with Jeff," is something my ENTJ says whenever someone comes after him.
Come on! We are not that bad. We are quite relaxed and chill if everything is in place.
I approach carefully with a *BIG HUG!* Come heere! 🤗

As long as people respect me, I’m really nice. If they don’t, they will see the other side.
You sure you're ENTJ? Your description kinda sounds like you're using Fe rather than Te, or in simple words like an ENFJ
Every ENTJ heard the part about not always being liked and took that as a compliment, I'd wager.
Our usual response to that is "I don't care" because we really do not care.
At last, I understand why people are put off by me. I'm just too _intense._ They probably see me as a bossy robot. Oops.
Does everyone like their own type the best or Just me being an ENTJ? Do all ENTJs feel like that?
We ENTJs are the best, don't you ever let me catch you lacking questioning yourself like that. We are the hype!!!
I feel like that.
I think everyone dislikes themselves sometimes, but only for a Moment (I hope)
Anything else Would be unhealthy
"But don't always know what they actually want from life." indeed.
Me to a T, sadly

Wow so true.. i love intjs..

OOF That hits hard cause it's where I am currently in life.

As an ENTJ I love how this video is just 2 minutes

This is the best description of my personality type that I’ve heard. Us ENTJ females have even a bigger issue with people liking us than our male counterparts. I just assume people won’t like me and enjoy it if they do.
Very ambitious to get everything done in right time and right way! Always!
I actually spent a few years mistyped as an INFJ. Eventually, my research into cognitive functions and the Enneagram brought me to the revelation that I had been an ENTJ the entire time.
Okay please please please answer me

But I’m still really kind and really really loved
And lately I’ve been thinking maybe I’m still an ENTJ

So if you can just tell me because I’m literally so tired from trying to understand myself
I understand everyone but not myself

@@folkloriaon I want to make one thing clear from the start. Do not let your personality type limit you!
You'll be at your strongest if you work to build the best version of yourself. Nobody is a 100% match for any type, in fact, the closer you are to 50 50, the better you are.
I'll tell you the truth about ENTJ type, and you decide for yourself, if you're truly one
ENTJ is one of the most stereotyped types out there, and many things about them are greatly exaggerated.
Don't be fooled by fake ENTJs online claiming to be an ENTJ, a real ENTJ doesn't take pride in being ENTJ or brag about it online or brag about it at all, they show you with their actions in the real world and prove that they really are one
90% of the people online claiming to be ENTJ are not ENTJ in real life, they act only online like they're one, but in real life, when push comes to shove, they won't act like ENTJ, they've merely only convinced themselve that they are one
Sorry on a long comment but I wanted to break down many misconceptions around this type to help you figure out if you're a true ENTJ or not, don't be discouraged if you're not, you can work on developing the qualities I mentioned and becoming the best version of YOURSELF!

I became a much better manager and team player when i overcame that to look and show appreciation for the good first.
- INFJ
No we dont boss around intending to be good. We do it intending to make our lives (and yours) easier
Yup. That's my man. He's total ENTJ. (for record, I"m INFJ so life is interesting, lol)
Me too i thought I was an ENFJ but I think i am an ENTJ. I I think I was just afraid to be a 'commander' type.
Yes, excellent work here. Where’s your ENTJ mug? Make a mug, make a mug!! Thank you foe the video. It’s accurate 👍🏼.
Right? I'm like where's our mug?
I suppose if the ENTJ is more charismatic with their "commanding nature" I may be more receptive, but so far the attempts of INTJ's/ESTJ's/ENTP's have yet to compel me to do their bidding.
this is very interesting!
I’m definitely enlightened, I’ve been thinking that my mom is an entj and now It makes me think that she’s an entj more, i’ll try to look for a way to make her take the test (.....when it looks like she has the time for it)
Being an ENTJ is the “only” thing I absolutely love about myself and would never want to change it.
I hope you’ll make a piano video someday... I’ve been wondering about it in the background...😮
Why hope and wonder when you can make it happen and have it?!?!? You can see them on his other channel under the name, “Nathan Glass.”

@@LChiz90 Nice! Thank you! 🙂
woaahh I've been hearing so mamy compliments from people here in RUclips about ENTJ. im an ENTJ-T and i thought everybody hated me but bruhh lil do i know people like ENTJ's too! and yes! we hate being commanded and we are very very organized and we're strategic leaders. but our weakness is being arrogant and i wish to change that sooner
I have a very hard time getting close to them, no matter how much they might interest me (as an INFJ)
It feels that the way i communicate is not appreciated by them - an all people including, less objective kind of speech
Nevertheless they're both very impressive people who i respect. Wish they could slow down so i could pick their brain
Stick with your NI that you have in common during conversation. Use sarcastic humor and avoid FE too much if you can, it freaks us out.
@@3Zeppoli in the same way dom Te freaks me out - i wanna see ENTJs avoiding that one
@@notjohn2672 It's our default option. I am perfect with it.
Basically as an entj I work for money not passion
You’re probably an ESTP then
I wished that i had a best friend ENTJ in my life ..

-An ISFJ ❤
I’m ENTJ and works the best and produce the best outcome when I get to ignore other’s opinions lol
This made me laugh 😂 As you might know - either from studying personality types or simply from your experience - female ENTJs might be the rarest type. We have a discord server and I always like to have rarer examples of types on there. Feel free to join it should you wish and we might coincide in the channels on there. You’ll find the link to it in the description of the videos ~ Nathan

It actually depends based on who is the person in question that doesn't like me
- If it's a friend, yeah I would be kinda upset if they didn't like me, but that's the catch, I wouldn't be friends with them in the first place if they don't like me
- If it's some stranger, well, you can never please everyone, as Socrates once said "Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people", so I just let the weak minded people be themselves and gossip about me, if you have a strong reputation, no stranger can ruin it no matter how much they gossip
- If it's an enemy not liking me, they already hate me so aren't they just being themselves, I couldn't care less about what they have to say, they're merely means to the ends for me anyway?
I'm indifferent to it, they can think whatever they want of me
This was spot on! Well done! It is almost like I should send this to my boss so she will understand me better 😅
I ve seen the ENTJ playlist videos multiple times, une after another and on shuffle. Would you add some more, please 😏
If you join the LoveWho Discord server and find me on there, perhaps your extra ENTJ video prayers will be answered… ~ Nathan
@@lovewho , I appreciate the invitation. And also if you post more here, you ll have more ENTJs following here and on Discord 🌠
Guilty as charged: sometimes our need for action impedes our ability to think 'exactly why are we doing this?' Many times we'll just bulldoze through without recognition on the "why." I'll admit that if I had more of that INFJ quality of analyzing and then taking action, I'd have been a better leader.
Wow I am an infj and I can't go action mode easily without finding my why
Yeah it's true but I think I've been in my head for the last...like month or more and It really piss me off but I kinda like it as I can do everything in it😂 but in the same time nothing in the real world
It's really hard
Now that's interesting! May I ask if you've become a bit isolated lately due to this whole pandemic situation? I mean if you're an ENTJ it sounds like you might have reached you're INTP shadow, in which case congratulations! 😊🎉
@@Adolphsson I've never been more isolated😂
At first I thought It'll save a lot of time and it's a great thing but it made me lazier than normal for a whole
And is it possible to change into an INYP? I thought maybe it's just a lil development in the Ni( I mean I read that ENTJs and INTJs like they can switch treats sometimes )
@@peterashraf2717 Duude! I'm an INTP and I've been trying to reach my ENTJ shadow for months! I might be totally wrong and it's just some Ni development as you say, but let's face it - even tho INTJs might procrastinate a bit more than ENTJs, we INTPs are masters at it. 😅
You should be able to go between ENTJ and INTP if the whole "four sides of the mind" theory is correct.
It's like I plan before I sleep...I wake up and start doing shit and then I kinda skip a task and then I do the other and next day I feel bad so I plan it but with no breaks at all to finish what i was supposed to do before....then I feel it's a lot so I just distract myself by this Ni "thing" but totally in purpose but it's like I'm addicted to it😂 I can stop myself and everything but I like it
Actually it's hard for me to imagine for a long time....it's like I need a tangible thing or an image but I try to just get the main Idea and carry on😂
@@peterashraf2717 Noooo! "It's just a theory" said literally no INTP ever. I'm not so sure of this anymore! 😄
So far I've found one person that has claimed he's changed from INTP to ENTJ so one can still hope. I like my type and all, but I just wish I wouldn't get stuck in analysis paralysis all the time. That's why we like to have you ENTJs around to give us a kick in the rear now and then. It's much appreciated! 😁
Aw man, don't be so hard on yourself.
Im no sensor but your right eye look a lil red. You good?
Good, now UI am gonna start my quest to find one
i used to be infp dealing with some shit and had a entj friend who was also into some shit... but you know what? i could complain and say that it was all to much and say that i was just so tired i didn’t know what to do and show how hopeless i was but them he was always like “yeah... that really sucks a lot! but we’ll get through this.” and i was like !!!!????THANK YOU?!!?!??!
You don't have to be a leader, it's just a stereotype
ENTJs are supposedly passionate people who enjoy having a goal and path to that goal which they consider success
This "success" is usually business oriented, and business requires you to take responsibility and leadership role to succeed
I'm almost 100% sure you could be an ENTJ and enjoy something like painting without the constant urge of "wanting to be a leader of something "
If you have no fear of public speaking + communicating ur ideas to strangers you're ENTJ that doesn't care about leadership,
(Of course given that NTJ are confirmed)
I have to know... You guys who describe other people in your life as being certain personality types... Do you know for certain (as in, have they taken the test/been ascribed) or are you extrapolating/making a calculated guess?
I'd assume most people are making a calculated guess; it's certainly less prone to error than taking a test. Although I do like C.S. Joseph's test...
Probably the latter.
~INFP.
ENTJs are underrated. -INFP
