Btw, airplane mode prevents radio signals that can distort some of the systems in the plane. Idk how it works exactly but there are systems that help pilots do a safe landing that can be distorted by radio signals.

Fyi,the actual reason your asked to turn on airplane mode is because when a lot of people in close proximity have data on, it messes with the planes ILS(instrument landing systems) that's used to help guide the plane in during landing(mostly during weather that obscured visibility). Most private and small aircraft dont have to worry about it as much though because there arent enough devices to actually effect the ILS frequency

fun fact: airplane mode is usually recommended for take offs or landings more than during the flight because the signals can disrupt and cause noise to the pilot or disrupt sensors. but in practice modern day technology largely override the issue and some planes even have internet access.
I had once turned off my airplane mode. It does nothing, while its flying. I still turned it off while landing/take off tho.. xD

Turning on Airplane mode on an aircraft is usually recommended to not interfere with radio communications and multiple aircraft instruments, but usually nowadays some airlines have modified aircraft that allows airplane mode to be off, since the signals will be sent to satellite then to ground.

Fun fact: the reason you need to turn on airplane mode is because the phone signals such as WiFi, Bluetooth, and location interfere with the communication tower. You won't die if it's off but you're doing everyone on the plane a solid if it stays on

I mean, 1 or 2 devices are completly harmless to the ILS and the systems in the cockpit, but if everyone does it, that's a problem. Also Lufthansa (as shown in the video) offers in-flight wifi anyways and so do many other carriers (feel bad for those flying Spirit, Ryanair, etc.).

Technically, the "airplane mode" was created because phones tried to connect to Wi-Fi and that rejected "WiFi" used to be the antennas and radars of air traffic controllers. BUT. Some airplanes have their own router

I play many flight sims and I can say that you are a good pilot.
If someone actually wants to know why they recommend you to turn on airplane mode here it goes:
Some phones produce specific signals to upload using mobile data. Those signals, if by a catastrophic coincidence, are the same wavelength as the ones used to communicate with ATC, can cause interference with the audio. Communication problems are very serious, and even though it is not certain that it would happen, the ICAO is very serious with security aboard planes. That is the short answer for why you should turn airplane mode on.

Ok so fun fact the reasons why they tell you to turn on airplane mode is because
1. If it has a really strong signaling could mess with the plane ( aka everyone not using airplane mode).
2. Your device will usually keep searching for wifi when its how far into the air, and might drain the battery.
I was told this by a flight attendant on a plane so its probably right. I don't know.

15: Beter: He is a light mode user
14: Facebook mom was a very weak character. Her minion meme attack in the Tournament arc was quite amusing but nothing too special. She got destroyed by Lester and didnt make an appearance after that. This is why she is so low
13: Air traffic control was a less likeable version of Vladimir. They both debuted in a short filler episode and were both pretty hilarious but I feel like Vladimir Was a better overall character.
12: I found Sbeve's dedication to his cause to be very inspiring, though he was quite a boring character and it made the short filler episode that revolved around him quite lackluster compared to other fillers.
11: Theodore was a pretty forgettable side antagonist for season 2. His quick death made him overall a pretty underwhelming character.
10: Ralph: He was a pretty bad character as he only appeared once and was quite a typical discord mod and didnt further the plot too much
9: Vladimir Was a likeable character for the short filler episode he debuted in.
8: Katie: She was a pretty forgettable character and was quite annoying.
7: Lester: Lester is head admin. He holds lots of power but isnt as likeable as some more of the other characters.
6: I find Pablo Jr to be a very unique antagonist, because he does not follow many of the common tropes in anime. I look forward to his development, and possible rebellion against his father in the final season, maybe he could have a redemption arc like characters such as zuko from avatar.
5: Eugene is a pretty interesting mod. I found his arc to be quite entertaining. He has had quite a lot of character development over the years and his persistence to get mod after 3 years was inspiring.
4: Beluga (Our protagonist) Is a very unique protagonist. He isnt like other anime protagonists, no, beluga actually has to use his brain to win as mods are much more powerful. I found his character development in the Lester arc to be really good.
3: Skittle: Skittle has by far one of the most in depth characters we have seen in the lore. If you arent caught up to date with skittles lore, he acted as a sidekick to beluga, and was then asked by beluga to turn into a female so beluga could get banned from the discord server. However, Skittle was locked into the discord server (as a female) with lester forever (you could just watch the "discord ban speedrun" episode for more information"). This turned skittle into the character we all know today, skittle-chan. I find this manipulation to be very interesting. This is the only legit development we have in these.
2: Pablo serves as a very likeable antagonist. He holds much power and is pure evil. His development in the skittle arc was interesting but he was at his peak in the Tournament arc. His fight with Beluga was extremely well done.
