I remember back in like 2003 or 2004 when everyone was masking hyperlinks with that URL when it'd happen I noticed if you let it run until 3 windows pop up and don't try to close any, it wouldn't create any more and you could just kill the process.

This takes me back to the early 2000's I got a virus and it randomly appeared on my desktop and scared the crap out of me.

When you opened the original version of youareanidiot on Internet Explorer or even a disguised Word program (On Internet Explorer) It goes haywire and the website decides to bounce all over your screen, making you question 'WTH did I just launch?" and it's thanks to the javascript it had. Sadly the script has been removed and became just a flashing 'You are an idiot!' website. Also if you dared to close it, it would straight up pop up four more of the "virus"
but small.
(On the disguised Word program) It opens a window saying 'Are you an idiot?' and there where three buttons= 1.Yes 2.I Don't know :( and 3. No i'm not.
if you clicked on any button, it would pop up another window saying= (I don't remember) And doing the same as the Internet Explorer version, except it didn't first launch in just 1 window, it launched in 4 windows blasting your speakers or headphones with someone saying= 'You are an idiot! Hahahahahahahahahaha!" looping over and over until you've had enough and try to stop the computer suffering.
Soloution?:
(For the Internet Explorer version) Just simply restart your computer, since that fixes almost anything!
(For the disguised Word program) Try and do the Ctrl (Control) + Alt (Alternative) + Del (Delete) and it would pop up something that has the 'Open Task Manager' and click on it. Try and find the 'IDIOT.exe (i think)' , click on it and press End process.
(Also i'm 9 and half making this comment, I didn't need no help at all typing this.
