That's probably one of the best call to action segments I've ever seen a youtuber do @ 0:17 good on you (or your team) for coming up with that! Capturing a secondary audience and funneling them to another platform is challenging but you have a perfect blend of direct eye contact, clear instructions, short and concice points that aren't obnoxious, balanced audio on the click bell so it isn't distorted or blasting over your voice (nicely done editor), then finishing the segment with "you're smart youtube frogs right?" is the icing on the cake. It feels like it would be impolite not to just go over to your twich and sub for free. If I could suggest anything, add your twich stream link to somewhere on the default (non-expanded) description and make sure it's visible on both phone and pc. Maybe add an animation like the sub animation, of the discription floating up to the bottom 1/5th of the screen and a cursor going down and clicking on the "livestream" link with a "< sub for free!" afterwards. Follow that with the prime sub animation and now my brain doesn't have to even think, I just repeat what I saw seconds ago. Just a thought, I get that it might be too clustered if you add that.

@@jimdingle4521 I don't think I'm even subbed, and I watched less than a minute before I clicked off. Sometimes it's important to just appreciate things, and let people know you see their efforts. Half the reason I typed the comment out in the first place was to warm up before starting work, and force myself to genuinely consider why it was captivating. Plus it keeps observational and critical thinking skills trained.

do streamers not realize that the term "frogs" is a derivative of the f slur/british cigarette "f-g", originated from 4chan as "old-f-gs" which then turned into "old-frogs", and now just "frogs". you guys gotta chill bro
"Frogs" developed on twitch without that connotation. It'd be like getting offended at british people for calling cigarettes what they do whilst standing in London. 4Chan culture is meaningless on Twitch.
I think it’s more because of Pepe variants being used for a lot of Twitch emotes.
And yes, that character was appropriated by some less than polite folks, but there has been an effort to reclaim him.
