This is the first time you came up in my RUclips and I enjoyed your video and subscribed.
Like you, I love surrounding myself with beautiful antiques, books and flowers. My grandmother taught me to sew and embroidery beginning when I was six and it’s been one of my favorite gifts and always relaxes me too.
I have to tell you that the pictures I saw were so gorgeous and I’d love to find some like yours!! I also oil paint and am learning to watercolor. It’s been slow as I am in small community and teaching myself (along with the generous help of some people on RUclips) ❤
Yes! The wallpaper always makes a room feel cozy in my opinion. It reminded me of my first home in which I wallpapered every room!! I’m close to 65 so it definitely wasn’t “in style” (nor were antiques which I could buy for a great price). I also loved antique jewelry and brooches which I wore to work and others began doing the same!! What fun it is to have others share our joys ❤. I was a Math teacher for nearly 40 years Early in my career…I attended a state week long conference/workshop on personality types and best teaching strategies for each. When we were given the questionnaire and it was analyzed…the instructor informed me I was the one with the highest degree of “right brain “ characteristics out of several hundred attendees. The part he’d never had was the fact that I also had high analytical score which is extremely rare. It appears it’s why I find the arts/beauty and creativity to be the most important aspect of my interest and passion although it is very natural for me to switch to the left brain when at work , etc.
Just a little personal insight about myself…Id just recalled this when watching your video and responding.
Your baby (I’m assuming yours) is absolutely the most beautiful and precious thing in your home with your cats coming in second ❤❤
