I'm a self taught myself, so i might not have very good tips tbh, but one i always stand for is to sorround yourself with artists (mangakas, illustrators, designers, musicians, photographers) you like and take inspiration from their work! Try some of their techniques, draw what you REALLY enjoy and don't worry about style too much. Take it easy and have fun !!

Forcing consistency is counterproductive; your body automatically does the same things over and over if it's something you enjoy or feel natural, so once you get a grasp of what you like you'll automatically keep doing it.
