it did actually, as the seisto elemento, a modernized version of it, like I always wondered why I hated every lambo made by that idiot winkleman save for ONE, that one, only to look back at this and then go hey wait a minute, I Know that car!

I love the Cala. I remember it from NFS 2. They should use it as the replacement for the Gallardo :)
The Cala is unimaginably more pretty and iconic than the hurracan :(
I would put it into production now as a replacement for the Huracan without the 4wd system and only with the gated gearbox of course

Oh man, if there ever was a car that should have been put into production it was the Calà. That thing is just drop dead gorgeous, i like it better than the Gallardo that replaced it.
2 things, the Lambo looks like the Spyker C8 from behind and I remember as a young kid. Every time I saw a voyager drive past I always imagined a celebrity on the other side of the jet black side windows. The car looked so good. I remember wanting one so bad. Lol

My mom has that exact van. Same color and everything. It lasted 15 years. Not sure how that was possible, but a noble van it was lol

The Cala looks nice, lots of memories from Need for Speed II SE but the Diablo SE30 still looks far better and still sold well too, i think the wealthy will always buy the big bad supercars, even if they only have supercharged V8s in the future. Still, im glad Lamborghini has there smaller supercars accompanying there flagships
Best looking supercar ever. Shame it fell between the gaps. Could easily be a 21st century design, with a few styling tweaks… maybe a v6 hybrid power train

Its my favorite car in the world world. ever. and it will always be. I love this car so much that id live in a tiny cottage just to own it... (there no other car i would ever do that for). I just really really wished the Calá went into production. Either way, i WILL drive one in real life, ill just have to see how. (owning it will probably not be possible though..)

The Chrysler minivan was never originally van based it was always based on a car platform (K car), and the idea first originated at Ford who turned it down so Lee iacocca took it to Chrysler with him
and to think that in a round about way that design concept did get used, granted the cala sounds far more italian with its V10 vs the Audi Sounding Gallardo and hurican, as seriously put its engine note back to back with a Ur Quattro, vs it, its the same bloody noise! but the design did kinda get used for the siesto elemento when you really take a close look at it, like a modernized far more masculine version of it.
Lamborghini actually dreamed up a minivan- The Lamborghini MPV.
that Lamborghini Diablo first registration was 10 08 1995 and date of liability

that BMW 320 first registration was 14 05 1979 and date of liability 01 12 1993
the reason why it was 11 years before the minivan materialized was because Lee Iaccoa came up with the idea while working at Ford, Henry Ford II didn't go for it and it wasn't until he became head of Chrysler in 1980 that he could create it for real

It’s called a trunk because a steamer trunk or a big box to put things in is called a trunk in the US .. a boot is on your foot.. why it’s called a boot I don’t understand..and the bonnet is a hat right? A hood or something hooded is a cover for a car or whatever.. Yes.. one language and so many different accents and meanings. It’s really incredible how one language can have so many different accents and how they came to be is fascinating and completely puzzling..like how the hell did the English accent and other European accents turn into a southern and eastern accent and each has its variations..it’s really crazy and I hope they can figure it out..
And by the way.. since the Germans invented the car and basically the roads and the rules.. cars should be left hand drive on the right side. Most people are right handed and shifting is easier with the right hand for most people..I really don’t understand why they refuse to change in Japan, UK, etc..it’s nuts.. Every country in Europe is left hand drive, right side road.. in North/South America, Most of Africa, Asia, Middle East and so on..not sure why Japan is different and the UK colonies..I hope they can change.. but if one system of measurements won’t work then maybe driving won’t either.. anyway, thanks for the Top gear oldies.. 🙏
