David Weekley Homes is voted one of the best places to work in the US year after year. You often hear cooks talk about how food tastes better when it is cooked with love. Well, the quality of your home is better when your builders love what they do.
Oh sure. Just ask all of the Weekley buyers whose homes were taken over by toxic mold and then deprived of their right to sue these unethical thieves when they were forced into arbitration instead. Be prepared to be very, very unhappy.
I would say Chesmar is okay. Quality is good. Not bad I just have never personally walked into one of their homes and been WOWED. David weekly I think is going to give more options for design, and probably hit a little more on the energy efficiency side. Send me a text and we can discuss further 214-608-1951
I would say similar. I personally like both but i think DW has the edge when it comes to design and style features. Meritage wins out in terms of community locations. Either would be a solid choice
I looked at Meritage homes in pine lake in conroe. I have to say i was truly disappointed after walking through not one but four homes they had for sale. The workmanship and quality was terrible! I don't have the time to write down everything i saw wrong. We looked into multiple developments and finally ended up in GCP in Conroe buying a beautiful David Weekley home. Walked every foot of the home with the sales person and building superintendent and found NOTHING wrong. Can't wait to move into our new David Weekley home in June.
@@jgarman6443 Sorry you were disappointed in the Meritage product up there. But Not surprised on the David Weekly side. They do build some stellar homes, Wishing they would keep expanding. Enjoy your new Home. Even with it being great be sure to get an independent home inspection before closing. I can send some recommendations If you need them. Thanks for watching!
Yes. David Weekly's Design center at least my expereince here in DFW has been great. I think they have a good balance of trying to say yes where they can. Major structural changes that are outside of their plans probably not but it comes down to what your asking for. This is all going to be within reason and on a case by case basis of what is being asked for. But their customer service is there. What kind of changes did you have in mind?
@@Peter-ok9bj As much as i would love that my wife would never allow it. 😀 I dont think david weekly would do it but they might put the plumbing in place for you to install the fixture after closing
Thank you for this helpful information.

Thoughts on how they compare to Chesmar Homes? Looking at the Stillwater Ranch community

How does David Weekley Homes compare against Meritage Homes? And how does the sheathing material differ from these builders?

Can you do some custom changes to the homes?

Nothing big just adding a urinal to the bathroom. I think all men would love to have one.
