This song crushed my heart. As I listened, I saw a panoramic view of my life. I was taken from my mom when I was 7 years old by the courts of California. I was institutionalized for 10 years. I suffered many horrible things for those 10 years. Then when I was 18 Jesus revealed himself to me and I was saved. Im 70 years old now and have had a blessed life. Jesus helped me graduate from college, gave me two beautiful daughters,and 4 grandsons. Jesus was my mother, and my father, and my brother and my savior. I have lived in the goodness of God. He has been faithful.

I am not a believer Genavieve Linkowski, but your voice is the most heavenly voice I have had the pleasure to listen to in a long long time. Thanks so much for sharing what is a God given talent and I know my words sound as if they are opposed to one another, but I see no reason a person cannot mix this kind of talent with what the song represents. I think it is a song of hope that is saying one day we will all become one. And, I suppose that is my religion.
One thing to know is most of us have a strong drawing within us. We long for something we cannot explain and we try and fill it with things that bring only temporary satisfaction. Ecclesiastes 3:11 explains why this is so. Verse 11 says, He (God) has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has "planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy”], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Because of sin in this world, the only way to have relationship with God our Heavenly Father, the one who satisfies our soul (mind, will and emotions) is through the salvation we find in Jesus our Messiah. It’s easy to accept Him. If you believe with all your heart confess with your mouth He (Jesus) is the Son of God, you can be saved. Then ask for His Holy Spirit to guide and teach you and read the Holy Bible.
