Im gonna play this at a recital in the upcoming weeks. Interesting to see just how around here in youtube, every pianist has a different way to play it, the tempo is the most notable change. I absolutely loved your version, so graceful. I agree, this tends to be overlooked. But as a first challenge, this have been the most difficult 3 mins to master in my life. Greetings.
These three songs were the last I learned before taking a break from piano, that is until COVID happened. I really want to take up piano again and play like this once more. I hope it’s not too late
Does he/she know many classical music have Antante 2nd movement and respect this fact? Slower is much more beautiful. No one can deny the importance of changes in tempo between the movements.
Beautiful rendition! Great hand motion fluidity, you make this graceful piece come to life admirably, and in my opinion the tempo is just right. Thank you and bravo!
I was searching for a pupil for a RUclips performance of this sonatina and I came here. Well, it's a very good performance in which body (arm, wrist, fingers) are in perfect unison with the musical expression. "If it looks good, then it sounds good' is true here. Thank you.
Lovely performance and tempo. Very pleasant. Andante movement is perhaps too fast it looses some "espressione". Other two movements are amazing. Would love a feedback on the take about this on my channel (still only Andante is uploaded)
I love your tempo! You give the emotion 😀😍😡🥺😭😜of the piece beautifully! It is truly fantastic 😁 and amazing 😉 ! You take this very seriously 😏 and probably admire 😮 this piece! This music 🎶 makes my heart 💓 shatter into pieces of How beautifully 🦚 you can play the piano 🎹

hehe no not really. Its a very easy peace. Just give it some time and most importantly seriousness. It took me two weeks and a half to learn this piece, and I am still a beginner btw! So dont worry. You will do it eventually
Thank you so much for sharing this! I am using your beautiful hand posture ( not too showy, but not flat - just right and beautiful) to demonstrate to my students how to do this correctly! Bravo!
with just the right amount of expression (imo /for my tastes). many i hear are too dry. yours is precisely articulated, but with personal touches, flavors (phrasing, dynamics) i shall use this as my template as i study and learn this piece. thank you.
Hi There Hazel! Your piano sound is amazing! Just wondering what speed is the 1st movement, I mean is it like 90 on the meternome? You must do loads of practice every day!

Okay so i learned this when i was like 9 or 10 and when i learn other pieces and that i'm about to give up i just remind myself of how fast i could move those little hands
How long have you been playing because I find this piece is difficult for beginner player. It’s apparently suppose to be beginner I’ve been playing two years but I could never get to that speed!!
This piece is grade 3 in the RCM syllabus. It's an early intermediate piece - not for a true beginner. There are a lot of little details, especially in the first movement, and getting it up to speed with proper dynamics and expression will take practice.

It's interesting, every pianist gives a different tempo to these 3 pieces
It's a simple piece but accepts a lot of shapes
I agree. Where do you find the right tempos? I used the tempo markings in my metronome and it was very different than these. Either way, fun pieces!
dynamics phrasing the personal interpretation the touch the "flavors" the moods.
it's one piece, by the way. with 3 movements, or parts.

second part is too fast; last part is too slow.
I can play this song
2:35
I play that
The music needs to be more relaxed and feel effortless, but still this is not bad
isn't this supposed to be allegro?
