I actually really like how the chest looks with the stickers. Btw, instead of using a toothpick like you suggested, I would recommend using a cotton bud (the kind with paper sticks) and cut an end off at an angle and use the stick. The paper won't scratch up the sticker like a toothpick can.
Or you could make it a permanent tool in your arsenal and dab that toothpick in a beed of gorilla glue, let it pool around the tip so it conforms to its shape. With the glue dry you now have a smooth pointy surface that can press down on your stickers without damaging the printing on them.
i purchased a plastic set of clay sculpting tools , very cheap and nice thin smooth rounded edges of a variety of different shapes and sizes, no sharp bit at all. can get into all areas .
I was assembling the MG Dynames while watching this, and the fact that this kit comes with color-separated eyes + the freaking black mask going over it, just to show how far Gunpla keeps improving years after years.
Gundams armed with Gatling guns is like far in-between as we have the Heavyarms, the Leopard, the Unicorn, the G05, the Tornado, the Astray Red Frame, and the Astray Blue Frame.
Seems less like they were made by witches and more like they were made by dwarves.🤣 I do love their designs though and to me they do kind of makes sense considering they were built on Earth so they need a low center of gravity to more efficiently move around in atmosphere, though the brown one's weirdly shaped feet I imagine not very stable. Edit: but if you don't see where I'm coming from look up any Dwarven songs like I am the mountain or Diggy Hole and play it over either their scenes from Witch from mercury, or while you got these 2 model kits built and you'll see what I mean!

I realy appreciate this kit! I imagine the Thorn will be similar outside of a few alternate aesthetic choices. I love their 00/AGE design and definitely feel the series needed this type of variety. Im picking up both this year, which is rare for me in regards to HG. However I almost feel bandai may decide to come out with a pbandai duo set for the two in some alternate paint scheme or gimmick

It's weird how people compare it to the Seravee, when it was Virtue that actually had another Gundam beneath the armor. Seravee had Seraphim as a backpack.
I honestly think the chest sticker looks kinda rad for just a sticker, like different from Aerial’s printed plastic piece, but not too much worse. but I do agree the head shell unit lets the side down

Oh ya know what now that you mention it. I look at them side by side and yes I can see it. They have similar face design with the upper V-fin being the same, same side skirting armor with the 2 back thrusters and even same upper arm and thighs with The Tentative having different front armor. They also have same hands with different colors and have the same type of Beam Sabers. This could either be Lfrith Ur Cast-Off or another Earth's Gundam mayyybeee Piloted by Nika Nanaura?
There is some speculation first thats ms inside of lifrith ur , second thats was lfrit prototipe before become Gundam ur ,third that ms was mass produced from stolen lifrith Ur data

Regarding the head jewel, the way the kit does it is faithful to the design, which is just smoke clear when deactive. The red inside lights up when the permet is active. It was bad on the HG 00 kits because they were just clear when they were supposed to be clear red for the entire jewel.
Seconding this, I’ve been looking closely at the shell units for reference purposes making digital models and this is exactly how it’s supposed to look. Only way you could improve it would be lights inside the head and that’s not HG business.
Anyone else think that the unnamed light armored lfrith variant coming out could be the inner gundam that mecha was talking about? Perhaps bandai pulled a virtue nadleeh stunt here
I just bought one just as season 2 is over. I have some left metallic red paint, might try painting those chest and head shells instead of using the stickers

The gatling looks similar to those free customize campaign item ive seen before , the shield is like one of those option armor for the rabiot to be correct .
I bought it last week on impulse, I like the color and the weapon but I don't like the head, it seems to have a double chin and I see the white antennae as strange
@@Dr.Alligator Season 2 trailer has a Heindree stabbing the shield with its lance, so it'll probably deal with it. Though I'd imagine unless it's from something like a rail gun, the bits wouldn't be easily destroyed by bullets.
I had the urge to make a gundam, haven’t before and haven’t done a model in 30s years. And chose this one and plan on painting it up a little and add some battle damage so it lots like it’s been in a fight
The reason this kit doesn’t have the fancy sticker is to keep the cost low because at the end of the day High Grades are meant to be affordable compared to higher tier Gunpla.
Definitely gonna get two of this. I might even get four, depending on how things go with the brown one that the name of escapes me. I definitely wanna see the level of compatibility between the two before I go getting that many XD

The new series gundam anatomy is more human like exluding this guy. In an actual human body the thighs are indeed longer than the lower leg portion. That makes taking a knee look more natural
The colors are what kills me when it comes to this suit. I preordered it thinking it'd be on the mossy gray side of things like the original promo images and anime, but then the second batch of pictures came around and it was revealed to be a mix between Gatorade and 80's teal. I still absolutely love the design, but damn, those colors do it a disservice.
TBH i kinda wrote off this line of gunpla and wasn't all that interested but man was I wrong most of this line is outstanding and makes me hope they start to do some MG of this line in the future with less stickers and most color separating parts in those spots

Ya know, with that color scheme and the phase array thing activated... the Lfrith Ur sort of gives off a vague Doven Wolf vibe with its silhouette.

No, they use beam, the Aerial's Gunbits deflected them. Only the Desultors used physical ammunition.
