As a 52 year old artist who grew up in New York. Born in El Barrio, raised in Flatbush, I have to say that this is the culture! This unity, this love, this remembrance of friendship is the culture. Kerwin, ASAP Mob, all these young men give me hope that the culture will live on and evolve into something that brings us together in more ways than music and fashion, just pure love.
@@Twigmfnah its just a natural conversation, everyone is themselves and it isn’t feeling like a interview. I like how its natural, the reactions and talking over is normal.
I remember the day V died I was in Chicago and I cried for a week straight. I never met him in my life, could barely afford his pieces but I always gained the knowledge he shared, and viewed the compassion he had towards his peers and fans. I cried because of the impact he TRULY had even from a distance. He really put the batteries in our backs of seeing life in a different lens creatively and enjoying it with the others who reciprocate the same.
this is crazy i was just looking up Kerwin yesterday because i havent had social media for a few years, except youtube where he stopped posting. this is exactly what the world needs rn
Too this day dressing myself is a different form of art. I love it. Love to see four icons get together and have a discussion that will push forward the movement.
I live like Tremaine when it comes to showing love. When it doesn’t get returned, sometimes it gets me jaded. I really got to get better at dealing with all of that.
Like how they were talkin about kids coming up to them with their clothes on and telling them how cool they were, Virgil the type to make the kid feel like they made they the shirt
this is an insane interview. Being a person that is influenced from the 2016 era this is like an ode to that era. RIP V
Bro faxtsss
this interview is 8 years late tbh. the entire streetwear/youth culture is dead and has been replaced with tiktok homogenization.
@@kushdax4888truly no sense of culture anymore in anything, just people hopping on trends because they see it on tik tok/ IG reel

Guy gets all these interviews with high profile people and still lacks any personality himself.
@@christiansucik6199I disagree I feel like he needs to hold back on his personality a bit and let ppl talk a little more

Weird
The moral of the story is to go outside
It’s funny how yachty said Atl set fashion trends but if I look in the last 20 years street wear fashion all the prominent people came from New York.
That’s because Yachty is a goofy

Seeing these guys together makes me miss the fashion scene back from 2015/2016

Yes Kerwin we need to hear more, i miss these interviews. And i haven’t even got past the intro yet
These years were one of a kind . ThOse who know really know
Why is Heron Preston rarely ever mentioned? He was part of Virgil's close circle and in my opinion was the closest to touch Virgils ethos of fashion.
I was thinking this too.. they must’ve fell out with him
Don’t forget Samuel Ross
& Jerry.
That’s actually a good point. Curious why they did not mention him.
YESS G SAM AND HERON WERE NEXT BEFORE V GOT PLUCKED. I WANNA HEAR MORE TOO
Thank god for this
