Filly without limits. Canela, her family, her story. Let´s talk horse.

Canela is a filly which was born in the Sierras de Córdoba, Argentina.
Carlos, the owner of her, together with her family tells us her story. The filly will be one year old in five days. When she was just born, Carlos began to caress her from the first moment, then she grew up and her behavior was mutating. She pounces on her wife who handles her normally, looking to bite, standing on two legs. Carlos tells us that he is afraid for the integrity of his family.
Faced with this, we can ask ourselves what does imprinting on a horse mean? Touching a horse is not his language. When a foal is born, without a doubt it fills us all with tenderness and love and that translates into the desire to want to touch and caress it. But these acts that can be natural for the human being are not so for a horse, consequently, we can affirm that we are invading it. As a result, the language they begin to learn is that invasion and it is how they then behave. Then, the filly becomes restless, insecure, seeks to bite, does not respect being taken, wants to kick, among other things.
It is vitally important for a foal to interact with the family, with his mother, with other foals. It is there that they begin to live the world naturally. When we enter their world, we cause them to lose that naturalness. Everything that happens to Canela has to do with that. Why? Because we are natural dominants of all species. A horse is never going to come over us, it will always seek to get away. How can we solve those attitudes that we are describing? Just as there are hierarchies in its naturalness, we must seek to understand this language and set limits. Thus in nature, the mother sets limits for him, she sets rules for him, in absolute tranquility. In the same way we can achieve it.
We will look for how we are going to turn Canela into a Horse, recovering her purity. Once there, immersed in her language and under the unconditional confidence that we will achieve, we will be able to touch her and teach her new things. Without imposition.
