  • Traveling with kids is the best but it requires next-level packing and preparation and anything that can make travel days easier is worth it for me!
Today I’m talking about a product that we recently used on an international trip to Spain and absolutely LOVED…The JetKids bed box.
Not only was this super helpful AT the airport and IN the airplane, but our toddler loved it as well = WIN WIN WIN.
I did A LOT of research about airplane beds and ultimately chose this product (even though it was not cheap) it checked the box for everything we were looking for which I will discuss in this video.

Thanks for being detailed but not overly so. I origjally thought 15mins was going to be too long of a video but you actually covered some nice details that i didnt see in other reviews.

We had a trunki ($75) ride on/pull suitcase (no bed) when the kids were little . They loved it! And yes, it’s not as fast as a traditional roller bag.the wheels weren’t 360

That’s clever! You could even put a tiny pillow or stuffy in there in your child had a favorite!

What a great product! I will share this with my kids. Obviously to use this, the parents have to have purchased a seat for the child. I don’t know at what age that becomes mandatory. (As babies, you can hold them and not pay for an additional seat, right?) A couple questions: How do the airlines look upon this in terms of their seatbelt requirements since it doesn’t have one? I guess at takeoff and landing it is under the seat and the child is in the seat with a seatbelt, so that part isn’t an issue. Second question; Usually flight attendants come around and tell you your personal belongings have to be completely stowed under the seat in front of you, usually more during takeoffs and landings. Did they hassle you about it being out used as a footrest? You made a very important point to check which airlines will accept these beds.
I sure wish they’d had this when my kids were young. But then I had four kids so we didn’t fly anywhere! 😂😂😂

Would you recommend this for a 2 year old? My son is very tall and active for his age... he rarely wants to be in his stroller and half the time he wants to "help mommy push" lol. Your son looks around the same age. Did you have any issues with him getting tired and leaning back/to the side when riding?

My son was around 2 when this video was filmed. We didn't have issues with that but he wasn't on it for long - sometimes he would hop off and walk, sometimes he would want to pull it himself! It was just a HUGE help for traveling long flights where he needed to sleep.

Wheel broke after 3x round trip flights.
Stokke refused to replace or at least give me a spare part for the bottom box since its past 2 years despite only using it 3x.
    Do not buy
