I am today's years old for just realizing that KARD's choreography is so unisex and versatile. Their choreographers must be geniuses. (Edit:) I'm quitting K-Pop. Thank you. You guys can say whatever you want now. Have fun. Stay toxic. Life is already hard enough for me with my current situation. Dealing with you guys is just adding more mental burdens to me. I'm not criticism-phobic, it's just that you don't know what someone on the internet is going through. I may look like I'm projecting right now, but I don't care anymore. You guys were *MY LAST STRAW.* "It's just harmless replies and you quit K-Pop over it??" If you guys could twist my words into a big problem, why couldn't I? To the people who have left civilized replies here, thank you so much. I might've messed up with some of my replies, but you guys still presented your inputs in a gentle and respectful way. You guys are my only hope for the K-Pop community. Good luck with all of your endeavors. I love you. Namaste.
@@theetaurus1832 what I meant by unisex are both feminine and masculine. I'm not saying that men can't dance feminine choreography and vice versa. Not everything has to be about politics.
to avoid any confusion, this is just to display how I would personally cover this dance if I had to step into the role of BM/J.Seph vs Somin/Jiwoo~ the differences lie not necessarily in the dance moves themselves, but rather in the energy and style 🥰 can you spot the subtleties? 🔎
Yes, I think it's so impressive that you managed to choreograph it just by changing your energy! Proof that small subtle details can make a big difference! Well done to you!
I love them for this. There's no male or female dances - dance is an artistic form of expression intended for everyone, regardless of gender. The only way you categorize dance is by style. I always appreciate groups like Kard that don't obsess over gender the way K-pop, J-pop and C-pop I industries tend to do, especially when it comes to dance.
@@Mooooooll360j2uctq1ykoyhue they do, perhaps there's less gender distinction in dance in J-pop compared to K-pop and C-pop, but oftentimes you can clearly see that they're pushing a certain brand to the group and it's mainly "cute and innocent" for women, meaning they get more elegant, static dances focused on arm and upper body movements, and "handsome and seductive" for men, meaning they get sharper movements, full body inclusion and fluidity, more use of space... Which, mess 😂
I’m glad KARD Exists because without Co-ed groups girl groups covering boy groups songs/ Boy groups covering Girl group songs would probably lead to so much scandals. Plus the choreography barley looks different(It might just be the short and not the full dance) but I’m glad they get the same moves sometimes
This is going to sound pretty dumb but my dream is to be a K-idol. My vocal skills are very good, I have a high and low range, I stay on pitch and beat without having something else to keep up with like a metronome. I always manifest that I’ll be in a mixed gender group under HYBE. I really doubt that such a big company would take chances with all the rumors that would come with it but I think it would be one of the unique groups and would change the industry hopefully when it comes to dating rumors and all.
@@Y0shi02 awh lol. I think Hybe is the best company out of the big four in terms of how they treat idols and I stan all the groups under them. I wish you good luck if you audition! 💙💞
KARD’s most unique feature is how they have unisex dance moves, how the dancers, no matter how “femme” or “masc” the dances are, THEY ALL DO IT. I’d be disappointed if they changed that tbh
They’ll do the choreo in their own styles but they’ll do the same choreo. KARD is the group I will always love. The boldness and than the bond they portray and have is amazing 😭💕 also the VLive’s were so damn funny!
People (as in some comments) are just complimenting KARD’s unique concept but I’m just drooling over how smooth her dancing skills and how she has different styles to cover this song 🥹
Can you see the differences between the male moves and female moves i mean if you notice closely there are differences in body language etc. Just Amazing ❤
They were 95% the same though? 💀 I think the whole point of the video was that KARD don’t make their choreos stereotypically feminine or masculine, and they all dance in their own personal style…
@@FLCV1934there are actually difference look at her waist and hips, The female version makes the dance more curvy while the male version isn't.. secondly look at the hand at the end .. Etc...
i'm surprised no other group has done a liminal space concept before. there are such a wide variety of themes in kpop mvs, including horror, but somehow kard seems to be the one to tackle this concept.
Everyone is saying there is no difference but there is a bit of a difference with posture and I actually think thats so cool to see. I never thought about that but it does make a lot of sense haha. Thanks for this! 💖
Make version: sharp, quick movements Female version: dramatic, round movements Loved this!!!❤❤❤ Edit: not much of an actual difference, just what I noticed for these covers specifically, it also just depends on the artist’s style!!

Y’all do realize that dancing IS already unisex right? It doesn’t take a “genius” to create such choreographies just a talented one who’s got a good eye
You can see in each dance, the girl cover uses her torso more to move her hips. The boy cover basically does the same moves as the girl, just with the acception that he doesn't use his torso as much.
I love how KARD does unisex choreo. Doesn’t matter how “feminine” or “masculine” a move may be, they all do it
thiss‼️‼️ and the fact that they all do the moves differently, some groups have every member try to do the move the exact same way which limits them showing their personality i feel, so im glad kard all have their own styles
Yessss flashing back to Ring the Alarm choreo, there were some pretty "feminine" moves that the guys just went for and I really appreciate that
Whoever picked the members of the group picked really good performers for a coed group. Both the girls can pull of masculinity really easily, and both of the guys can pull of femininity. Like BM is the type of guy who can throw it back and somehow make it look natural, cool and masculine
ITs not even Unisex, The guys and girls do the feminine and masculine dances together, without complain or shyness ^^
Because there’s both men and women in the group..?
